I purchased the Insignia Folio Case in black for my 10.9" iPad and it fits really nice. It took a little work to get it in place, but there's no worry about the iPad popping out or shifting if it's dropped. The pencil holder being on the inside of the closure flap is a plus as it keeps it protected as well. The case molding also has a pencil cradle for magnetic charging with the iPad. The case is thicker than others I've had so it takes up more room than I prefer, but my iPad is very well protected. The material has a soft elegant look and feel to it, but it is most definitely a fingerprint magnet! And the stand could be better. A nice-to-have would be a cover flap for the camera lens like my previous case had. Overall, it's a bit bulky, but the case protects my iPad the way it's supposed to, and it has cutouts in all the correct spots. The magnetic cover and flap closure saves battery life with the auto sleep and wake capability. But the cover is hard to keep clean and free of fingerprints.

I truly find this case wonderful. I usually use uag or otter box. Yet this case is much better it’s extremely protective very comfortable to hold and carry lightweight and extremely durable. It’s also very professional looking and it can turn into a stand that doesn’t wobble. This bEATS UAG AND OTTERBOX cases i have on my other devices. Amazing product

For the price it was cool. Nothing major about this purchase. Better quality than I expected from insignia. Thicker and heavier than I thought also. My kid is 5 that im using it for his ipad. Ipad stays put and doesnt come loose or anything weird. Solid purchase.

I've used a number of different cases and covers for my 11" iPad Pro and the Insignia Folio Case is one of the best options I've come across. It's unique in that it offers a universal fitment for use across a number of iPad models ranging from the 10.2" up to 11" iPad, iPad Air and iPad Pro models. Insignia achieves the sizing option with an adjustable system that conforms to the supported iPad model that is being used. The protective corners adjust on a flexible piece of material to firmly fit different iPad models. Fitment - simply secure an iPad in one of the mounting brackets and continue to stretch out and secure the remaining mounting brackets. It was a little tricky at first, but once done a couple of times it becomes second nature. It's great because I have an iPad Pro and my wife has an Air and this case can be used for either. We like to put this case on when traveling for the extra protection, stylus holder and integrated stand feature. The cutouts for the speakers, power, volume, etc. buttons align very well and there is easy access to all controls. Features - there is a stretchy stylus holder attached to the side of the case as well for folks using a stylus. The case also has a magnetic overlapping flap to help keep the case closed when the iPad is not being used. Much like the OEM cases, the Insignia Folio case wakes and sleeps the iPad when opening or closing the case. There is also a stand feature which works well for work or play and secures the iPad in the landscape mode. Pros: - quality workmanship and great looking folio case - durable construction to assist in protecting your iPad - wakes and sleeps iPad when opening or closing - integrated stylus holder - adjustable sizing to support multiple iPad models - magnetic closure to secure cover and protect you iPad - cutouts for speakers, ports and controls are spot on Cons: - Reaching on this one, but it's a bit bigger than some cases so it takes up more room in my bag All-in-all, the Insignia Folio Case for iPad is a well made and feature rich case for multiple iPad models. It offers protection, ease of use and style in an affordable case option that I would recommend to anyone looking for an iPad case.

This folio case does a great job of keeping your iPad safe from drops and dings, but at a cost of weighing it down considerably. On a new iPad Air M2 11", the case more or less doubles the weight and takes the Air right out of the light iPad. Another thing to keep in mind is this case will not protect the screen from drops or scratches, you will want to add a tempered glass cover to the iPad if you want additional protection. As for installation it is straight forward, the case uses an interesting stretching back frame that allows it to adjust for bigger and smaller iPads. For the iPad Air M2, the fit was snug although a totally fitted case for 11" would be even tighter. The depth wasn't as snug as some fitted cases, but this isn't such a bad thing since it makes it easier to remove/install the iPad into the case. I will generally use this Folio case for around the house, and something lighter for travel since it will be in a backpack/bag most of the time and won't need as much protection. Lastly, the folio stand portion works very well in the more upright position, but the nearly declined position is very optimistic and doesn't hold as well in that position. Also, the magnetic leaf that folds over kind of just hangs off the back which isn't as polished looking as some other cases. Overall for the price it does a pretty good job, but the main negatives are the additional weight and the self-standing positions aren't super solid feeling.

I have owned several iPads throughout the years and as always each iPad needs a different case so I’ve had several cases. Most of the cases I have bought are thin and made out of plastic which caused my iPad screen to crack because the case doesn’t protect the iPad at all and I had to pay to replace the entire screen. When I would search for thicker and more protective cases, they would be way out of my budget. A lot of the thicker, more protective cases come with keyboards and I don’t use keyboards so for me they just get in the way. Some cases I bought didn’t even fit the buttons correctly or they covered the power button so it didn’t allow me to sign in with my finger print. Every case have been a disappointment and I’m the type of person to really take care of my devices so I can say that the Insignia iPad Folio Case really is the best case I’ve ever gotten. The first I noticed about this Insignia Case was the thickness. It is easy to see that the iPad is incredibly well protected. It’s thick enough that the camera in the back doesn’t even touch the table when you put the iPad down which is perfect because I don’t want to accidentally scratch the camera. The material for this case is great. It feels soft but the actual case is sturdy. When it comes to the way it fits, I was concerned at first because this says this case is a universal fit for Apple iPad 10.2" (7th, 8th ,9th generation), iPad 10.9" (10th generation), iPad Air 10.9" (4th,5th generation), iPad Air 11" (M2), iPad Pro 11" (3rd, 4th generation) and iPad Pro 11" (M4) which doesn’t make sense to me because they’re all different sizes but that’s the most well thought out design of this case. It fits them all due to the adjustable fit that the corners give. In all the cases I’ve seen, the part of the case where you snap in the iPad is usually one rectangular plastic piece that holds the iPad but the Insignia case is different because the case is split into four parts and it’s held together by stretchy bands. Each corner stretches out to perfectly fit your iPad size and holds it place. I have an iPad Air 11” (M2) and it fits great. I have never seen another company with this design but it’s amazing. All the buttons and speakers are perfectly seen and not covered at all like other cases. It has durable PU construction that protects your iPad and it folds into a stand for horizontal viewing and typing. Even though the case is a little thick it also folds completely so it's flat against the table. The material of the inside of the case has a good grip so the iPad doesn’t slip when you stand it to type. It also has Auto sleep/wake function which turns your iPad on when opening the folio and off when closing which should be a standard for all iPad cases. I have it in the color black which looks very elegant and very professional, specially thanks to the nice rounded corners of the case, but my most favorite feature from this case is the way they designed the space for the Apple Pencil. I have an Apple Pencil Pro and when I got my first Apple Pencil, not only did I have to start searching for a good iPad case but also a case that had a Pencil holder. When I started doing my research I realized that all iPad cases come with a rectangular hole meant for the Pencil, but personally I think the hole doesn’t look very appealing and not to mention that all iPads have this hole on the right side of the iPad where it forces the Pencil to be charged 24/7 which I did not want because that meant that in order for it to be at 100% charge it would continuously take charge from my iPad and make my iPad die faster. I’ve also always heard that keeping devices charged for several hours when the device is already at 100% can damage the battery so I wanted a case that could hold my Pencil without charging it but also lets me charge it when I want to and that’s exactly what this case does. On the right side, next to the screen, there a black elastic band that you can slip your Pencil into and it holds it in place without charging. If you decide you want to charge you Pencil, you don’t have to remove your entire iPad from the case to connect it because the middle area of the right side of the iPad is not covered by the case so the Pencil snaps directly to the iPad to charge. It’s a great idea, and where it’s finished charging you just pull it from the iPad and slip it into the elastic band. The other cool feature this case has for extra protection is that when you close the case to cover the screen, the right side has an extra flap made from the same material and color as the rest of the case that fold over the right side and covers the Apple Pencil and due to the magnetic feature, this flap stays closed and keeps your iPad extra protective. It folds perfect with or without the Apple Pencil inside. I love this because as I mentioned before, the middle part of the right side of the iPad is exposed to make room for the Apple Pencil to charge but if you’re not charging the pencil that area is completely exposed and can be more easily scratched or dented but that will not happen because this case has that extra sliver that folds over the right side so it is literally protected in every area. After years of searching, I truly feel like I have found the holy grail of iPad cases and I 100% recommend this to anyone searching for good case.

This Insignia Folio Case for 11” iPad Air fits it perfectly and is very protective. It covers it nicely and there is plenty of padding so that if it is dropped, it doesn’t get damaged. There is a cut out for the camera lens so you can still take pictures. There is a place to store your Apple Pencil, but to charge it, you have to connect it to the side and not put it in the little ring that is on the side. I tried putting it in the ring, but it didn’t charge there. The closure of the folio causes the iPad Air to go to sleep, which is great as it saves battery life. The buttons on the iPad Air are all accessible, as is the charging port, and the speakers. It’s a really good protective folio case, and it has the ability to stand up so that you can watch a movie or videos. The only thing that I don’t like is that when I am holding the iPad Air, the case doesn’t seem to fold back properly so that I can hold it comfortably. Otherwise, everything else about this folio case is fantastic. I have continued using it since I got it.

My old ipad case was falling apart. It made my iPad look old, but this new case honestly made it look fresh again. People thought I bought a new iPad. Compared to the others on the shelf it was the cheapest AND sturdiest, it even has a stretchy band for the apple pencil. Also space for apple pencil to magnetize to the charger space. I got worried when i first opened it because I thought it was the wrong size, but to my surprise the four corners stretch for multiple compatibility! I got some compliments on it from my classmates. It truly is a nice and sleek look.

Cases and protective covers for iPads are everywhere, but only some really do the job they say they will. TL;DR for why you should pick this up Good: Protection Compatibility Durability Corner / face protection Magnetic flaps Magnetic Pencil Access Pencil Loop (for non-mag iPads) Bad: Stand Bulky when holding it I have the Apple iPad keyboard case, another thin one that just protects the edges and they all have their purpose. I liked the idea of this case, as it doesn’t ONLY fit my 5th Gen Air, it also fits my 9.2in 7th Gen. The corners are on stretchy fabric-like connectors in the middle making it able to be extended to the size iPad you have and allows it to be held securely in this hefty case. I found that when using the iPad in this case, it’s pretty bulky when folded open. With that, I didn’t find the bulk to be very comfortable while holding it, so I found myself using the flaps to make a stand. I found the stand to be cumbersome and tough to keep upright. When I was heading out and grabbed the iPad one day, I felt no hesitation tossing the iPad onto my passenger seat as it’s quite protective. When looking at the screen, the case rises well above the screen creating protection from dropping-related face cracks and had no issue with my screen protector whatsoever. When closed, a magnetic flap wraps around the opening and secures the case so it doesn’t open accidentally. I do have an Apple Pencil for my Air and a generic non-magnetic one for my other iPad. For the magnetic Pencil (2nd gen), there’s access to the side of the iPad to keep it securely in place. For other models, there’s a pencil loop that takes advantage of a secure fit to hold it in place so you don’t have to worry about losing it. If the stand was better, I’d have given this a better review, but I just wasn’t a fan of it. All in all a solid 3.5-star case that I’ll round up to 4 because it’s unique (to me) multi-purpose fit and protection. Recommended!

This Insignia Folio case has a clever stretch capability that allows it to fit multiple sizes of iPad. It works well with the 5th through 9th generation model as well as the newest model of "regular" iPad. While I don't have an iPad Air or Pro to test, the design leads me to believe the case would work for those as well. I ended up sticking this on my child's 9th gen iPad in place of a bulky hard shell + TPU "super protective" style case. After getting a feel for the Insignia Folio, I felt it would offer more than enough protection for my kid while offering better protection for the screen when in a bag, plus the ability to easily stand it up for watching movies. It is very easy to use and determine where the optimal folding points are, enough that my 8 year old was easily able to get the hang of it after I showed him how it worked. While I'm not an avid iPad touch screen typiest, it seems like the lower angle folding point for "typing" does improve his ability to use apps, and of course the steeper angle is great for consuming media and shows. The case was effective enough that I kept it on the iPad for a family trip with air travel this weekend. Would definitely recommend this to anyone wanting an inexpensive but useful and sturdy case.

Very nice case for iPads. It fits many types and gens. Feels very nice to the touch, almost like a velvety texture. It does have a magnetic flap that wakes and puts your iPad to sleep. Feels very sturdy and protective. At first I was kind of confused, because the inner part that wraps around the iPad itself was much smaller than my iPad 9th gen... But then after looking closer you can see the arrows pointing out and makin it clear that the contours expand and mold themselves to your particular size/gen of iPad. After pulling out on them it expanded and finally fit around mine and hugged it very nicely, it snapped in place and will not come out anymore. The sides are beefy and raised, so they also protect the screen edges. There are cutouts for all ports and buttons, although you have to reach in there with your fingers, not a problem at all. It does have also as pen holder in case you use one and want to carry it with you. In all, very nice mechanism to make it fit several gens and types of iPads. Only con I could see is that does not have a keyboard, its just a folio case, but if that's all you want to protect and carry your iPad, this one is a must!!

Does what it’s supposed to. Fits iPad Air snug. Case is on the heavier side so it defeats the purpose of it being an Air iPad. Nonetheless, case is super sturdy and I won’t deduct a star because it’s heavy.

Great cover for the ipad pro, my only complaint is how easily it shows any sort of dirty smuges on the material however it is very easy to clean off. The cover also does not inhubit the use of the apple pencil and still let it magnetically charge and attach to the ipad. For anyone worried that the pencil may unattach from the ipad the cover also comes with an elastic holder that will also allow the pencil to still charge. Overall a great purchace in my opinion and would recommend.

The case feels sturdy and provides good protection for my 11'' iPad Pro. The stand feature is super convenient for watching videos. The material feels nice to the touch. If you're looking for an affordable, functional, and well-made case, this one is definitely worth considering.

I went and purchased this without first checking what size of Ipad I had, so I ininitially was worried that I might have to return it if it didnt fit. However, this case has a very clever adjustable system where every corner stretches out individually, so it fits all sizes which is great. To add to that, the folds of in the case are magnetic so it closes securely, and also props up well if you want to stand it up on a table and play music or video. Definitely happy I didnt have to spend $250+ on the more expensive cases, but i still have the features that I wanted.
