Good microphone overall but a bit too thin on the body which makes it hard to find a good mic flag to put on. Good sound recording but not the best

I have been in broadcasting for over 30 years. This is the perfect reporter microphone for beginners. I really like the rubber grip that is on the microphone. It reduces hand noise while holding the microphone. I use this microphone for those quick interviews in the field. You will need phantom power from your camera or another source to get audio.

This microphone is a great alternative to an expensive $100+ microphone. I would call this a multi-purpose microphone for interview use or singing. The fact that it has a 3.5 adapter plug really helps for any use. (phones or camcorders or digital cameras) a great buy for any documentarian.

It’s a great microphone. I rated only three stars because it didn’t come with the end piece I needed for it to work in my sound system.

My daughter needed to record a monologue for an audition. The Nikon built in mic was not clear enough. I purchased this and was surprised at how good the sound was. Definitely recommend for anyone who needs a mic to record speeches or performances.

I was trying to use a mic someone was using when recording ona cell phone and the mic would not work. Turns out there was a different port. This pic worked perfect and had an adapter.

My son is in broadcasting school and needed to do interviews. He was using his cellphone which recorded well but a lot of background noise and had to be facing directly at subject. With this mic he looks more professional and sounds professional

It’s a nice microphone but it’s fault is that it’s not compatible with almost nothing. I’ve tired it with my iPad, iPhone, and speaker. The makers of this device should put a list of what it actually works with. But i will say that it’s a very nice design along with the package, that’s the only reason why I gave it two stars. In this age of technology companies need to be more specific of what functions with their product.

I don't do that many videos but this microphone served all my needs. I can connect to my Sony camera or to my phone to do live videos. Amazing and reasonably priced!

Plug in with mini connector (analog) to video camera and phone (with adaptor with new lightening connector - purchased separately). Good quality, excellent construction.

This is not a Karaoke microphone. The sound quality is washed, the treble is not there and the bass is also weak.

Was going out of town and in need of a microphone. Was anticipating buying another option, but really liked the look and feel of this one. Tried it with my D7100, and the audio was great. I'd definitely recommend this for someone on the go. This is not a mic for musicians and performers. If you're doing entertainment interviews, events, and journalism stuff...this is a great option!

Excellent microphone for reporter activities. I performed several tests and worked perfectly.

This is an awesome microphone. It is very easy to use and it the connection is very simple.

The mic sux but the connector cables work great with equipment. I kept mine because an XLR adapter for a cellphone and the TRS/TRRS adaptors cost more alone. The mic looks cool but is garbàgè.
