The phone has to be aligned with the charger”just so” or it won’t charge. Without the case, there’s an inch or so of leeway

However, the spaces for the buttons doesn't line up quite right and makes adjusting the volume a pain in the butt. The same can be said for the button that closes your phone.

It’s not rigid plastic; it bends a little bit, which I like. I’m not a huge fan of the raised edges, but they don’t bother me too much. I do like that the phone can lie flush on flat surfaces now.
