I dropped my phone several times in the 2.5 years I had this case, and I’ve had no breaks, dents, or scratches. I also appreciate the nubs on each edge so the phone sits flat on its back. I only replaced it since the edges were starting to peel and the rubber got pretty yellow.

It may not protect from extreme accidents, like dropping the phone from a second story, or running over it with the car, but will definitively protect against everyday oops, you know, miss your pocket, falls from table, stuff like that. It also has little "tabs" on the back corners, and a rim around the lenses, so they are protected quite well. The little tabs may make it a little trickier to get in and out your pocket, but I rather have that problem and have my $1000 phone protected.

Phone ran over by a car no damage.

No damage to phone except the glass protector shield shattered. The case was intact with a slight blemish. I used it for months afterward! It saved my phone.

The yellowing of the clear started after a couple months after purchase. Overall not bad protection solid 8/10 but just like any other clear cover I have to give the yellowing 5/10. (this one being the best out of the 2 clear covers I’ve had)
