I bought this for my Seagate - Backup Plus Slim 1TB portable hard drive. It fits well and even has a small pouch for the cord. I like that it's slim enough to carry in my laptop bag and strong enough to protect my drive.

Surprised that this little purchase is something I admire. It was an impulse item, but now I am thrilled to own it. Good protection for taking my Passport or, in the event of an emergency taking it quickly from my office.

It holds my hard drive and cord well. I really like that I can put it on my backpack and not have to worry about being crunched since its a hard case. I got it for a better deal than the WD case and protects it much better

This case will work for the Seagate - Backup Plus 4tb External Usb 3.0/2.0 Portable Hard Drive. There is an elastic band on one side you put the drive under while the other side holds the cable.

I got an external hard disk a few months ago to back up pictures on to it. It was a hassle each time putting it back in the box it came in. Saw the Insignia case at Best Buy and purchased it. It has a mesh holder on one side of the case for the external hard drive. It has an elastic on the other side to hold the cord in place and zips up. Sure is faster, easier to put the hard drive in the case than it was putting it back in the plastic and box each time.

The Insignia case is great. It was much cheaper than the WD cases and feels just as sturdy. The case has a strap to secure the hard drive once in the case and a mesh pocket to store cables or manuals.

The Insigna hard case came free with my Toshiba - Canvio Connect II 1TB and it is wonderful. I worry less about physical damage to my Toshiba. I esp like the little pouch where I can store my USB cord.

I bought this case for my external HD and it works great. The zipper functions well and I feel it really helps to protect my valuable HD when I travel. Clean, all black case works great.

Item lives up to it's name. the hard shell case provides ample protection and space for the connection cable. Highly recommended. Great for transporting hard drive with cable!

I bought this to transport my Seagate external Hard Drive. It also fits my Samsung SSD T3 drives (two of them fit on one side!) Zips up nicely, room for cords, and it holds everything. I expected it to be hard shell, meaning thicker/harder material, like a suitcase. It's moderately hard material but can bend. Still good protection though.

I bought this to house my external, portable hard drive - this case is basic, but exactly what was needed - no frills, no extraneous pockets or unneeded flair - excellent purchase for me

The case allows for control and storage early accessed for the drive, cables and extra thumb drives and SD cards, all the storage one would need for that vacation of picture taking and sharing.

I paired this hard shell case with a Seagate Backup Plus Slim external hard drive--and the size was perfect! This is a very nice, basic hard shell case that'll keep that hard drive protected--AND MAKE SURE YOU PROTECT YOUR DRIVE. When you have an external drive with moving parts, any drive failure will make it very difficult (and costly!) to get your files back. Do yourself a favor and invest a little in drive protection with this case!

This is an excellent case for external HD's. it is tight enough to keep it from bumping around while transporting it, but yet enough room to store it and a few extra items. Worth the money.

This Hard Drive case is just the right size for either WD or Seagate external drives. It can hold 2 Seagate 2TB drives or 1 WD 2GB drives. It is best for 1 drive and a cable.

This is a very great case for my portable hard drive. I have purchased this brand cases for all of my portable hard drives. Very good construction and completely protects the hard drive.
