This Insignia case for the iPhone 16 Pro Max has a simple design. It’s clear, allowing the original color of your iPhone 16 Pro Max to show through. The case is thin yet sturdy enough to protect your phone from drops. The sides feature grooves that provide a secure grip while handling. The phone fits nice and snug indicating a perfect fit design. The case is also compatible with Magsafe accessories and chargers. The only drawback that I found is that the buttons, such as the volume controls, power/Siri button, and silent ringer require extra effort to press. this might improve as the case breaks in, it’s a bit frustrating initially. Overall the case serves its purpose well by offering reliable protection for your iPhone 16 Pro Max. Thanks to its clear design, the case not only provides a perfect fit but also showcases the phone's original color. In the box it included just the case.

Insignia made good phone cases and this one is no exception. The material it uses feels solid and thick enough to withstand shocks and drops. If you use a glass screen protector, the edge of the case is still a little bit higher from the screen protector, which is great. I have not dropped my phone, but I can trust it to survive some reasonable impact due to the design and material quality of the case. The design puts emphasis on both functionality and protection. I can hear no degradation of the sound coming out of the phone's speaker while using the case. The texture of the case feels smooth and the material doesn't feel cheap at all. Case transparency is great, and the case has done wonderful job in showcasing the desert titanium color of my iPhone. The top and sides of the case are ribbed making the case very grippy. Even with a wet hand it’s hard to make the case slip away. All of the buttons of the phone are well protected by the case. The camera button works well as there is enough opening to make the button accessible. Mag safe works well with the case thanks to the visible magsafe ring. Overall, this case is a very good one if you are looking for a transparent magsafe case. The only thing that I could think of to make it even a better one, is adding a kickstand.

I have several cases laying around just in case something happens, so there’s some subtle things about this case that I should be noticed. To begin, it definitely does the job as described. The material is ‘bendy’/flexible. So it is easy to install and uninstall, but because the ridge overhangs the size of the phone, it feels very secure also. Very nicely done. The size is just slightly oversized so it’s easy to install but does not cover the screen estate. Another thing I noticed was the ridges. I think this is up to personal taste, but the little ridges on the edge of the case allows for easy grip, and prevents slipping. It’s a nice touch, although it adds an element of cosmetic that some people may or may not like. Also of note, the bottom of the case is covered. There are some pros/cons and theories that you’ll find online, but to me, just keep the whole thing covered makes sense. I don’t have any sensors affected or a heat problem, despite living in California. Some models have the case open on the bottom for flexible installation, decrease sensor / speaker obstruction, heat dissipation and flexibility to have various adapters to connect to your phone. Personally I didn’t have any problems , and I just feel better having the whole phone covered. Overall, effective, simple, clean!

Lifetime tech9 user, thought id give this a try. Worked fine for a few months, but just discovered the case is splitting and falling apart at all the seems.

I love the Insignia Clear Phone Case! It fits my phone really well and protects it without making it bulky. l've dropped my phone a couple of times, and the case kept it safe. It's light, easy to hold, and the raised edges help protect the screen and camera. I definitely recommend it!

Review of Insignia Hard Shell Case for iPhone 16 Pro Max The case at glance out of box look crystal and clear. Easy to place the phone at first try and doesn’t look bulky. Mostly could be the effect of being clear case. The back side is plain and the border is made of texture allowing to grab better and not slippery. Comparing to the same kind out market, it not much different. Only thing that has gotten my attention is on the material. Its case says it is made of 60% recycled TPU, but doesn’t look anywhere near the recycle effect. On the contrary looks clean and neat. The downsides are: 1. Holding from the back of the phone, it feels bit slippery as being plain surface. 2. The case specific says the magnetic ring is built in for which I would interpret it is within the plastic as its shape has been made. But instead it is glued from in the inside as can tell the the difference. But aside of above observation, it is protective as the rounded corner has good supporting reinforcement., with shock resistance up to 8 ft according to its specification. The buttons are responsive with the case. For the sliding button, it has opened space. Only thing I can’t tell is how yellowish can become although its specification indicates it is discoloration defense. In past other tested case with same specification, became yellow over time. Hence can’t tell with short time of usage. In short, it is good to have for the price category, but might find bit bulky for the pocket and slippery depending on usage.

I love this case so far I bought it for my new 16 pro max. It has grips on the side so it won't fall from your hands. It's clear so I'm able to see the color of my iPhone still. Also, it's compatible with all the Magsafe features. All for a good price too. 10/10. (its not hard shell its bendable)
