Works well for all intentions. would recommend this.

Prior to getting this device, I had to unplug my HDMI cable from the TV cable box to my laptop every time we needed to use it. Now life is like a dream. All we have to do is just use the remote control on whether we need the TV on the screen or the laptop for other thinks like watching a movie on YouTube.

I have mixed results with this. My primary purpose for this was to use it with a TV and have multiple devices share a single HDMI input on the TV. Unfortunately most smart TVs today are trying to recognize the type of device connected. This causes problems because the TV keeps getting confused and connecting and disconnecting. This works fine with a dumb monitor.

Easy port to set up and use. No issues and recommend to anyone.

Just what I needed to watch video's from my computer without having to disconnect the HDMI cable from TV every time.

This is a 3 port and I would have used, but I needed a four for. 34 was more than adequate for usually loose, but I needed something.

I had been looking for something to minimize the wiring that I have going from all my various devices to my TV, and when I came across this little device, it seemed like exactly what I was looking for! I have a few different game consoles, blu ray player and a Nvidia Shield that I need to connect to the 3 HDMI ports on my TV. Normally I would have to get behind the TV and switch cables depending on what device I wanted to use. With this, I will never have to do that again! Out of the box, its very easy to set up. You basically plug in the power. Which is a USBC cable (wall wart included) and then plug in your HDMI devices and then run 1 HDMI cable to your TV and you are good to go. You can then use the included remote control to easily switch between the devices. There is just a 1 2 3 button and a power button on the remote, so its very simple to use. They even include a couple strips of double stick tape so you could mount this on a wall or behind a cabinet if you want to. It says it will support devices with 4K HDR at 60Hz with 3D capability support signals up to 8Gbps. My only small complaint is that it only supports up to 60Hz. I would like to see at least 120Hz, but for my purposes, it will work fine. But if you are hooking up a high end gaming console with this like a Ps5, just know you will be limited to 60Hz. Other than that, I can’t really find anything bad about this unit. Its simple, and is easy to set up, and just works as advertised!

Verdict: The Insignia HDMI 3-Port Switch is a great choice for a reliable and affordable HDMI switch to connect multiple HDMI inputs into a single monitor or projector. It’s simple to use, works well, and includes a remote for convenience. Initial impression. The switch is light and quite small. It comes with a charging cable, plug adapter, switch, and remote. Considering the size, undermount screw holes, and double-sided tape, you can install this box inconspicuously anywhere, especially since it comes with a remote so you can operate the switch from anywhere. From example, you can mount this behind a TV, under a small table, etc. Switch operation. The single button operation is as easy as it gets: keep pressing to toggle through inputs 1, 2, and 3. After some time, the LEDs turn off, but you can turn them on again when pressing the select button. I like that the button has a strong tactile action and sound. The remote is small and thin with buttons that also have nice tactile feedback. Use case. We were quite excited to hook this up to our projector because one of the three HDMI ports no longer works and one of the HDMI ports is routed to the sound system, so we really don’t have enough ports to connect cable TV and the streaming stick. We have been swapping the cable TV HDMI and streaming stick in the one good HDMI port, causing additional wear and tear. This switch allows us to connect cable TV, the streaming stick, and now a gaming console. With this setup, we can easily switch between the three inputs, while keeping the sound system connected to the projector. Things I like: - 4K HRD compatible to support exceptional resolution from your inputs to your screen - Small size - Many mounting options - Easy to use - Convenient remote - 6ft charging cable and plug adapter are included - Great price Overall, this is a great and affordable option for a multi HDMI switch solution. We love it!

Easy to set up. Solves the issue with too many cords and not enough holes to stick them in.

Great additional HDMI port switch. Brought two, since the first one worked out well.

Unfortunately did not work for the application I needed it for. Not for HDMI splitting or repeating signal The BB associate said it would do for me. More on BB staff than anything with the product

This item does not work very well ans the cost definitely makes this even less worthwhile, again if somethings needed in a pinch i understand but this switcher is not worth your time otherwise.

I don't know if it's a problem with my TV or the Insignia switch but it does not easily switch from input to input.

plugged it in my projector and the projector surged and didnt turn back on
