It only took a few minutes.Ran it through our dvd/vcr combo twice. Tried a dvd movie. It played without all the skipping. No complaints!

cheaper to clean the drive than buy a new one!

This cleaner was used without any use of chemicals and inserted into a mac mini cd/dvd drive. The CD started to play music and instructions explaining that the device was being cleaned. There are also multiple tracks on the CD for the user to skip to. I assume this is to clean throughout the disc drive. The CD cleaned flawlessly and the drive works well.
