    My Blu-ray player started skipping and dropping the video. I thought the discs were flawed and/or dirty but they played fine on other players. Gave this a shot and it seems to have cleared up the problem.

    A good thing to clean dirt, dust, oils,etc from lens,but not always entirely effective. Maybe dvd player needs to be taken apart and cleaned manually with rubbing alcohol.

    My dad has a top-of-the-line Bose player that would not play CDs without a lot of skipping. Two uses of this tool and the system purrs along like it was brand-new. It might not work for every situation but you certainly should consider trying this before carting your system off to a place for repair, which will be much more expensive.
