I preferred the lens cap attachment that clips onto the camera strap but could not find one. After using this one I have found that the elastic ring method of attaching to the lens works better as it stays with the lens when detached from the camera. The only downside to this particular item that if stuck on the outside of the lens cap, the lens with cap are not as stable setting the detached lens on a flat surface. It might work better sticking the pad to the edge of the lens cap. I didn’t think of that at the time. If stuck to the edge of the lens cap the product should work perfectly.

Went on quickly and the lens cap quickly snaps in and when in use I just unclick and drop it letting it dangle. Better than holding it or putting it in my pocket like I used to. Also it can quickly go from lens to lens so I do not need to buy one for every lens. With it dangling I also get reminded more to put it back on when not actually taking photos. When in my pocket I tended to leave it off more which leaves it unprotected from dust and sand. I live in Florida and love the beach and the animal rescue ranch I volunteer at so am always in dusty or sandy scenarios.

I have purchased two of these now, for the Canon DSLRs that are owned in my family. This is a good solution to keep from losing the lens cover. It attaches with some double sided tape to an existing lens cover, and then the lanyard attaches to the camera body. Very handy when the lenses that you are using are of the same diameter. The drawback that I noticed while using it is that if you are moving around a lot during the photo shoot, the lens cover will swing around and become slightly annoying. Not quite as annoying as losing a lens cover, though, so I can deal with it.

Its great to have so you dont loose lense caps and I actually looped it around my camera strap instead of the lens because the chord is a nice long chord and I noticed at times when Im doing fast movements to get a shot it would swing a little to close to my lens so I looped it around the base of my camera belt so I can reuse it on ANY lens I attach to my camera. My only complains is the price BestBuy charged like 8 bucks for this little thing that we know cost no kore than 5 bucks. I had to buy it on a whim emergency because I was flying out in less than 24 hrs.

This is my third one for one of several camera lens. The first two are still working well. The last one doesn’t stick to cover as good. So far, it will stick again, but not more aware of if working on not. Unfortunately, it was put on my most commonly used lens which uses a different cover size than the two that works best. I am debating Super Glue as a solution since I like it when it works.

Simple lens cap keeper works great. I don't use it the way it shows, however. I put my camera strap through the loop and stick the button sticker on the lens cap. I can still take the cap off and let it hang but the elastic doesn't shift and get in the way of the lens function or get stretched out. I still have the first one I bought years ago, I needed a new one for a different lens.

This item is handy and helpful for holding lens caps, but it can come loose pretty easily. I've used this a number of times; in the best instance, it lasted well over a year before coming loose. However, if you don't put it on very carefully (i.e. make sure the surface of the lens cap is clean and you hold it in place for a minute or more when applying it), it comes unstuck very quickly. That being said, it seems as good as other options out there, and it's a lot cheaper than replacing a lost lens cap.

Picked this up on the fly as I needed a quick fix for misplacing my lens caps. So far, works very well. The adhesive strip is a little bulky for such a small item, but I am going to guess that that means better / more long-lasting adhesion to the plastic lens cap. Would be nicer if the price point was just a little lower, as I saw a comparable item by Targus at a different store for almost half the cost of this product. But this may not be the manufacturer's decision, and should not impact the quality of the product.

I hated having to stick the cap in my pocket or camera bag while I too photos. Sometimes I would place it down and forget where it was. I like this lens cap holder. I stuck it to the front of the lens cap and and put the elastic portion around the lens. The only down side was trying to shoot down and the cap swing around.

After losing my cap a few times I decided to give this a try. For the most part it does it's job of holding the lens. But if you're like me and tend to do more active photography it may not hold up. After a few months the sticky end came off. The elastic got snagged on branches while hiking a few times and came off. This seems to be the only one of it's type at Best Buy from what I've seen in stores. Conditional recommend if you aren't a very active with your photography.

The Insignia lens cap holder works well to keep the cap from getting lost. Now, no more dropping the lens cap as you scramble to get the shot. The holder was easy to install. Just peal off the non-stick paper and press the tethered anchor to the cap. Then stretch the band around the lens body. The price was worth it.

If you're an active outdoors photographer, you need this Insignia™ NS-LCH1 lens cap holder. The adhesive-pad button part sticks to your lens cap and is attached to an elastic tether loop that you simply put around the lens barrel. No more worrying about dropping your lens cap, as it stays attached to the lens, within easy reach to put back on the glass after you get the shot. Focus on your shooting - not where you misplaced your lens cap.

When switching lenses, I seem to lose my lense caps. This lens cap holder fits on the barrel of the lens and is pretty snug. Having the lens cap hanging on the strap, makes it easier to swap lenses and get the lens back in the case without needing another set of hands. The only thing I do not like is that it does not lay totally flat on the barrel and kind of sticks up. But that may just be something I need to get used to when handling the lens.

I was constantly taking my lens cap off and leaving it lay someplace or putting in a coat pocket and not being able to find it. This makes life so much easier. There it is hanging right from your lens so all you have to do is snap it back on. Thanks Best Buy Salesman for your wonderful suggestion, no wonder I keep going back to where I know I will always receive the BEST customer service and friendly conversations about new products and ideas. You guys are all #1 to me!!!!

If you’re like me, you probably could really use this. I was always misplacing my lense cap, it was stressful trying to constantly look for this small black piece that is so important to my camera. But now I don’t have to worry about it, I wrapped it around my strap instead of around the lense though, it kept falling off the lense. It might be super cheap but this thing makes my life a lot easier.

This little item keeps you from losing your lens cap to your lens. Very easy to use and works great with lens hoods. Definitely recommend it if you don’t want to be buying a lens cap if you lose one.

I really wanted to like this and in theory it’s a great idea. However, the adhesive is not strong enough (just a peel off sticker) and my lens cap detached and disappeared without me noticing it. I suppose if you use superglue to attach this to your lens cap it would work just fine. I wish I’d known this before I lost my lens cap....

Having a leash on my lens cap is a must. Without one, I would be loosing a lens cap on every trip. This one is very versatile, but sometimes the self stick, doesn't stay stuck even though I have prepped the area before sticking. I have fixed this with a little Goop. I put the Goop right on the pad and then press it to the lens cap. Works like a charm

I decided to get the only lens cap holder available at the store, I knew I'd be out without a place to store the cap safely. I dislike that it is a sticky circle that attaches the holder to the cap. It's tacky. Secondly, the cap holder elastic goes around my lens and moves when I adjust it, it just feels like it's in the way. But it does keep the cap on, it's just a cheap way to tacky up a really expensive camera.

I have bought three of these lens cap holders and for the most part, they work just fine. However, on one lens, it consistently falls off due to the fact that the adhesive on the back of the piece that attaches to the lens cap does not seem strong enough. For the price of about $8.00, I feel this should not happen. Overall, the holder works well and allows the lens cap to stay with the camera and definitely is convenient.
