I did not realize this is an IR remote and not bluetooth. But it's totally my mistake since the specifications clearly mention that. So a clear line of sight between Xbox and remote is required and the remote must be pointed right to the face of Xbox. It doesn't work if there is something like a blanket blocking it. Other than this slight annoyance the controls are working great for its price and I am keeping it.

Great remote for movie watching. Hate when I hit the RT or LT on the controller and it fast forwards or skips. No issues with this remote.

Works great and its very affordable. You just simply put the included batteries and syart using. No need to download or install anything. Very well built

I think this should come standard with all consoles! It's easier to use then the controller when watching videos.

I really like this. It's pretty inexpensive and much better to use when streaming or watching DVDs on the Xbox than when I use the game controller.

Nice addition to the Xbox x. It is so much more convenient than using your controller when watching/using media.

Solid remote. Needs line of sight as expected. Battery life seems solid so far. Buttons are kinda weird sometimes requiring harder presses but is minimal.

Great little remote! You just gotta make sure your Xbox doesnt have much in front of it. If you do, the remote doesnt work as well.

Great for the price. It's a good alternative to using your controller batteries when just watching media. Has to be aimed pretty precisely to work but other than that it great.

Love it, should have bought it sooner!! Automatically connected to xbox , trying to control volume but its a sound bar, tv issue

I love this remote. I don't have to use my xbox controller. This will be my second remote. The other one still works but the buttons wore out. I memorized the buttons layout but the other family members do not. So got another one so they can see. I put the other one away as backup. Later in the future I think this will be hard to find. So it's good to have a backup.

Let’s us watch our kids dvd and blue ray with out having to deal with the controller. Simple enough our child can work it almost herself.

After using the xBox X supplied controller for Blu-Ray playback, we decided to include this remote to make operation more conventional. This did the trick. No need to relearn the button hieroglyphics!
