However, my mac mini does have a native mini Display Port output. Great solution for my issue, up and running again without having to do too much. Took off one star because of the price.

The Somewhat-Smart-TV did not have Spotify on it, nor CW Seed [Gotta watch Whose Line is it Anyways reruns!], so this was a super easy way to bypass the missing apps and watch it on a big screen! I also design, so it was especially easy to see my work on a huge screen, thanks to this wonderful adaptor.

Works perfectly with an older Macbook Pro connected to a standalone 27" monitor. No issues at all, performs well.

HDMI Dongle for All

This little jewel is sturdy, fits snugly in the laptop port and works beautifully with any HDMI cable. Another great gadget for my bag of laptop necessities.

It is plug and play so anyone can use it. If you have a hdmi monitor you are trying to pair to your mac look no further. This is all you need.

I think that the newer versions of the iMac would’ve worked with this connector.
