I purchased this Insignia KB because the higher-end HP laptop’s builtin KB shorted out when something got spilled onto some keys. Unfortunatwly it’s out of warranty now since it’s 7 years old and limited options in replacing the unit’s outer housing with the KB included because HP won’t offer any warranty servicing. I had to get this to even use the laptop at all so easy choice, since it’s a great laptop and very fast with many programs and softwares already installed. So I have to plug this into a USB port to use it and it works great with no problems at all and a god warranty besides

The USB Insignia keyboard and Insignia mouse are on sale (today only) at half price for the two. Even at full price which is what I paid, it is good value. A reviewer had said that the cap lock light does not go on but it does for me. I bought the keyboard because of the number pad and use it with my Mac Mini. It would have been nice to have a keyboard specifically made for Mac, but this keyboard works fine with my computer. I find the touch typing experience to be adequate and have no complaints.
