Purchased in order to record book for vision impaired friend. Works very well as recording is clear and audio fine for this use. Probably not good for someone who needs high quality sound such as music.

Not a fan of the boom mic and could not work out a static sound when i spoke in teams peak.

I bought this headset to be able to record a CD for my son to learn his Bible quizzing material. I had an old one but it had too much background noise. This worked great. People can be talking nearby and it doesn't pick it up on the recording.

Works for what I need, using for online class, not too expensive

this is my second purchase of Insignia - On-Ear Analog Stereo Headset the first one was just one headset and actually last for several months, before the MIC gave out. I than purchases the 2 headset and although the sound quality is pretty good the mic is cludgey, installs well with MS drivers however as for trouble shooting MS isn't much help, I went to their help pages it was hard to find anything worth my time in trying (tried a few to no avail). the main issue is the MIC cuts out and it is now just a headset. Price was right however for the quality the of the MIC price should be less. I would spend the extra money and get a better product than this one.

Got these for my kids that are home schooled. They use these for their live classes. There is nothing real fancy about these, but they are a solid build and have pretty good sound for what we use them for. If you are looking for a headset and don't need anything fancy, these are perfect.

I'm not an audio expert but these seem fine, with one problem: THe headset is a little tight on my normal-sized female head. There's no real way to loosen it up as far as I can tell, but if I wore these for hours at a time I'd probably get a headache. As far as the sound, like I said, I'm no expert, but it seems to work fine.

I'm not a geek person, but am doing more and more tele seminars. They are being recorded for the paying attendees and need to be excellent quality to be brand consistent. I was using a different headset and phone, but wasn't pleased with the quality. I had to resort to my iPhone and earbuds, which worked well, but I wanted to raise the bar. This headset is fantastic, easy to use and allows me more freedom with not only my iPhone but other devises as well.

Not the most comfortable headset to wear but overall it is a good value for the price.
