The speaker surprisingly has good sound and doesn't distort at higher volumes. This speaker is perfect for listening to music anywhere in your house. I have not tested battery life yet. Go ahead and make the purchase, you will not be disappointed.

We've loved the speakers we had in the past. This one didn't measure up at all. It worked okay at first, but after just a few months of use it now rattles when I listen to opera and most classical music. Try other speakers over this one unless you want to listen very quietly all of the time.

That saves a lot of time finding the right cable and a USB port, etc. Plus you can extend the plug (when it's not plugged in) for a mini stand. The sound is OK and I like the on-board volume control. Pairing works pretty good initially, but the connection cuts in and out and sometimes it drops altogether. It can be pretty annoying. I have other Bluetooth speakers that I use under the same circumstances they don't have the same problem. For the price (I bought it on sale as the DOTD) there are plenty more options out there. My advice is to pass on this and get something better.

Marginally better than an Echo Dot speaker
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got this to enhance the sound from my Echo Dot, and also create some separation (Echo tends to not be able to hear you when it's playing music). It's a very close call, but maybe this speaker is a bit better. The separation does help though.
