Bought the for our vehicle so we could play music with our phones and I gotta tell you, this little Bluetooth receiver works just great. If you don’t have a Bluetooth vehicle, you need this device. It uses Velcro to attach so you can put it almost anywhere you have a flat surface.

The wireless headphones I wanted went off sale so I picked this up. It works perfectly and is very light. My Google phone with Oreo tells me how much battery is left and I just plug it in when it gets low. Throw the small Bluetooth box in my running pocket and off I go.

Bought this for a 2013 BMW, which only has Bluetooth for phone calls and not the stereo. Charging the device took about an hour and a half. It paired immediately with my iPhone X. I connected the 3.5mm cable to the aux jack in the BMW--and behold, I have Bluetooth music! The device is small enough to blend in and because the car has a USB port I should be able to charge it in the car--haven't tried it yet. The PROS: easy to pair, function controls are straight forward, sound quality is solid. The CONS: there's a slight high pitch tone between songs--but honestly, I doubt most people will hear it while driving as the road noise should likely block it out. I did experience a few instances of the sound cutting out--less than a second. I could not use the device to make phone calls--although it showed as an option, but I think this is due to the Bluetooth calling in the BMW. Overall, I am happy with the sound quality and ease of use. I'd recommend this to anyone looking to add Bluetooth music to an older vehicle.

Ditching my phone-car radio AUX patch cord!

Wanted alternative to a patch cord which required me opening headphone jack cover on my phone case each car ride use. Pros - Now able to take/make calls without unplugging un-mic'd patch cord. Very small, compact, lightweight... Cons-Came with large round 3M Velcro mounts - Swear Velcro hooks and loops could hold a 100lbs, but both of the adhesive outer tape surfaces do not adhere to Velcro bases very well and now not at all. The tape peeled off the velcro base and is now a pain to remove from my dash and back of unit. Unit is so lightweight that first time I dismounted it to charge, was afraid unit would snap in half trying to seperate velcro, lucky the adhesive failed...another lesson learned - charger cable is not very long so consider mounting proximity close to charge source. All in all.. like unit.

So I bought thus bluetooth transmitter in hopes of turning my '07 Camry into bluetooth capable car. To my surpise it actually did the job right and for an awesome affordable price. Super happy i bought it in the whim, spur the moment kind of time. I was first considering paying for a rehaul of the stereo system for about $700, but glad to know I found this amazing working gem. Its extremely simple to use, a child could figure it out.

    Great Bluetooth adapter

I needed one for my car because it’s not equipped with Bluetooth. So far I really like it. I had hassles before with other Bluetooth technology that would stop the music when a call came through and would not play automatically if the call was rejected or if I hung up- I drive for a living so this is awkward when there are passengers in the car and the music doesn’t come back after rejecting a call and I have to spend three or four minutes tinkering with the thing to MAYBE get it working again. I don’t have such issues with this adapter. It’s small enough for me to hold it while driving and change the songs easily without taking my eyes off the road. My phone connects soon as I’m in the car which is great. The only slight issues is that the adhesive is really quite terrible - it fell off my dash after about three days and all the adhesive stuck to the dash and not the Velcro- but besides that I really like it. And it’s only $30 which is a leg up on the ones I’ve researched before. Highly recommend this product.

I purchased a truck with only an AUX chord and thought I was out of luck for bluetooth capabilities unless I used a headset. But I stumbled upon this item while shopping for an AUX chord and thought I would give it a try. It synced directly to my phone which allows me to hear and talk through my speakers in my truck stereo just like it was built in to the vehicle. The only things I wish it had was a few more buttons to differentiate what controls volume, and changes songs. Having to press and hold down the arrow buttons to change songs can be distracting and difficult while driving and is not ideal when on the road.

I'd been looking for a Bluetooth receiver for my car stereo for quite some time when I stumbled on this one, and it did the job beautifully. It's small and light, and it kept me from having multiple wires and cables in the dash area of my car so I can listen to music or podcasts from my phone. The battery life isn't ideal for long road trips, but it's great for your daily commute. I used mine daily until it died earlier today. I'll definitely be picking up another one!

I purchased this unit about 2 months ago, and it has been a joy the entire time. The audio quality is great it doesn't even sound like Bluetooth to be perfectly honest. it sounds like hooking my phone straight up to the stereo via USB. It automatically reconnects whenever I get back in my car which is a great function, saves time. The battery seems to last a good while as long as I remember to turn the unit off before leaving the vehicle. You can tell when the battery is getting low because the bass output seems to dip a little. All in all a great product. I highly recommended considering that it's only 29 99 at the time of purchase.

Well first let me just say I have been searching for this product for YEARS!!! I have a Harley Davidson with an aftermarket speaker system on it. I have tried numerous other products and by far non even come close to this. It is small long lasting and easy to use while riding with on hand. The best part is that I can keep my iPod or my my phone in my pocket or it's clip and still control the volume and what is playing. I can even skip a song or go back all throught this little module. Thank you Insignia for being a true forward thinker and inovater.

I installed this in a 1954 Chevy under the dash and have the USB hard wired. It enables me to run my Bluetooth audio through the stereo with no wires and it sounds great. It turns on immediately when I start the truck and connects to the phone automatically. The only thing wrong with it is the internal battery. It does not have an option to turn off when the truck turns off. I have to reach under the dash and turn it off myself. If I don't, my phone will connect to it for the next 6 hours until the battery dies. Other than that, it is perfect.

I purchased the product to remove the the wires from my dash. I tuck this little guy into my glove compartment. I used double-sided Velcro to mount it. You will have to recharge it, so you need to make removable. I get the n my car, hit the 'on' button, it connects to Bluetooth on iPhone 7s. I also found that it works when I'm at the gym. I plug my headphones into the unit and place it into my pocket... Tadah! Wireless headphones. I can put the phone on the running machine, stairclimber, etc., and have no wires connected.

I never knew that these adapters existed. I actually was looking at iPhone adapter cords to plug my iPhone into my car to be able to listen to music while charging my phone. Luckily one of the store associates explained to me that would not work And that what I needed was a Bluetooth audio receiver. Not only was this item cheaper but It was extremely easy to set up. Had I known better I would have made this purchase over a year ago!

If you're looking to turn wired headphones into wireless headphones, this product works great. The sound is good and it's really easy to set up. The only reason it didn't rate 5 stars is that it could use a clip for exercising or just walking around. However, it came with some really great add-ons, so overall, a very solid purchase.

I bought this to make my noise cancelling headset to be a bluetooth headset. Also for use in an older Toyota 4Runner which only has an aux input, no bluetooth. It works well, and pairs easily. I can walk away to the office kitchen which is about 40 feet away and back to the office no problem. Only thing I do not like about this is that it has a hissing sound if the unit is being charged at the same time. If you charge it before you use it, you get the optimal sound.

This product has served me very well in turning my aux-only vehicle into a Bluetooth receiver from my phone. It's very nice to just get in the car and have my phone ready to play music without having to fiddle with wires. I always keep it plugged into the port that turns on when my car does, and sometimes this starts up the Bluetooth receiver without me having to press anything! (Sometimes I have to hold the on-button, but that doesn't bother me). The SINGLE caveat I have with this is that the microphone is finicky. The first one I got actually didn't seem to have a mic at all as I never got it to work, so I returned it as defective and replaced it; the second one's Mic works about 85% of the time. That 15% (and lack of storage on my main iPhone) has caused me to switch over to playing music from my iPod touch, so I can still take calls without ever having to worry about the mic not working. Still though, good product overall

The item is great and exactly what i was looking for. The only issue I have had is with the velcro not holing up the unit. Some people claim they cannot hear me on it but it is rare. The unit boost the volume of the music I am streaming from my phone via Bluetooth. Before this unit the steaming of music was kind of weak. I hooked this into an older isimple unit that has a male aux cord coming from it.

I bought this to add bluetooth to my car. I initially had trouble connecting the bluetooth to my phone but that could have been my phone not finding the receiver. After I got it to pair it has not disappointed. Battery life isnt great but as long as you charge it every couple of days you'll be set. The reason I give it 5 stars is because how fast it connects to my phone when I power it on.
