This Insignia bluetooth speaker is fantastic for the money. I got it for $49. It is a stereo speaker. The sound quality is excellent (again, for the money - don't expect Bose sound) for what is is. It has good mids/highs and has decent bass. It contains a large internal battery for charging other devices via a USB jack in the back. It also has a mini USB for charging the speaker itself, and a mini-aux input for other devices that lack Bluetooth. Under normal use, I had no issues with reception up to 30 feet away. Beyond 40 ft, I got connection hiccups. Because of the large internal battery, it weighs more than a typical speaker of its size great battery pack. It is water resistant, but not waterproof, so avoid getting wet if possible. Most of the speaker is surrounded by a rubber/plastic casing surrounding the buttons and inputs/outputs. I use it in bath room with Amazon alexia dot for music I put on the shelf where there no plug so it great for me when I shower and shave and take it to work. great battery life. If you're looking for a great bluetooth speaker bargain, you won't find anything better than this one .

I use the speaker together with my laptop, as at times the volume of my laptop is not sufficient. I'm satisfied with the strength of volume in the speaker, and so far the bluetooth hasn't given me much trouble. It isn't as effective distance-wise as I thought it'd be, however, and works better if it's within say, 4 meters, with no obstruction in between. Also, it's true that when the battery begins to wane, it makes alarm sounds that don't quit until it has recharged a bit. However, it does work while it's hooked up to the computer to recharge, and the battery lasts for days when it IS charged. I also did use the speaker to charge my phone on one occasion and it worked great.

I bought this to keep in my bathroom for getting ready in the morning and using in my shop during building projects so I was interested in it being water resistant and well built. Pros: At $24.99 at time of purchase you're definitely getting a great value. Overall I'm very impressed with the sound this produces; the highs are nice and clean and the lows are nice, rich, and full. Cons: I've only a few of gripes with this stereo speaker. As you adjust the volume, either from the speaker or from your player device, it beeps every time to alert you of the change. I find it to be somewhat distracting and haven't come across this with other bluetooth speakers. My second gripe is the speaker's range is kinda disappointing. If there's nothing in between me and the speaker (walls or doors etc.) I've only had about a 15 foot range. If there are obstructions it's dropped to around 6 feet. My third gripe is regarding the usb charging cable is very short so be mindful of that (it has to be right next to your charger and outlet.) All in all I'd recommend the Insignia NS-CSPBTHOL-BK. It's a higher price point but it's got a better range and it doesn't make noises when you change the volume.

I got this speaker on sale and is totally worth 25$. The sound is louder than you think and doesn't distort. The battery last a long time and it's so small it's ver convenient to take anywhere. The Bluetooth gets a little spotty through 30 ft and 2 walls but, I'm not complaining. I don't think I would pay full price, but I enjoy what it is.

It is pretty loud and sounds good. like that it can charge my phone. The battery stays charged for a long time. The only thing I would have to say is that the Bluetooth distance does not go very far. Cuts off after being some few feet away. Very inexpensive so didn’t mind spending that money.

The Insignia speaker came in camo, which is already a plus for me. I try to keep away from common colors in things I buy. The size of the speaker helps keep it from attracting attention when it's not in use. I'm able to keep in on a table in my living room without it sticking out like slightly bigger bluetooth speakers do. Sound quality is pretty good. I don't get the best bass out of it but music can be heard clearly from over 30' away over several conversations without it being on max volume. At max volume, the sound becomes distorted and fuzzy. The speaker tends to drop bluetooth signal at about 20-25 feet. Usually, I wouldn't be one to carry my phone around when using the speaker outside but for those who do, this will cause some problems.

Works most of the time as well as one could expect of a small (stereo) Bluetooth speaker; sound is actually pretty good. Built-in battery holds a charge very well. It does sometimes have an issue with intermittently dropping out audio for a second. Keeping the speaker within four feet of the signal source seems to solve that problem, so I’m guessing it has a range problem rather than an interference problem. I got mine on discount around $20; pretty good for that price!

I recently bought this speaker from my local Best Buy. I have had a similar JBL but wasn't impress with the battery life which this speaker I can say has an very long life. We use it all weekend long and sound is great. Only draw back is the blue tooth range. I have found within 20 feet at very most it can still pick it up your phone. Other then that I highly recommend this speak. Good product for the price.

Great speaker that is LOUD when needed. I love that it's waterproof because I keep in the bathroom and reach out to change the track if needed. I also like that the speaker serves as a portable battery pack if you're ever in dire need to recharge something. Only problem is sometimes you have to reconnect your device with the bluetooth. But it's still a great speaker for the price.

I've had this speaker for a little while now and I have to say I'm am very pleased with the sound quality. As far as the build quality I can't really complain, but I do wonder how much abuse the rubber around the unit will last. I feel it's very possible I could tear or blister under heavy/rough use. But it's definitely not something I find to be enough to turn me away from it. Like I said the sound is pretty good, it has a nice range. I feel that this unit is more well suited for someone whom listens to a variety of genres of music. Has decent, punchy, bass response, nice mids, and good high end. If your a heavy bass head this may not suit your fancy, but I still say it's quite good. As far as the battery bank feature I have used it, not extensively but enough to feel that it does the job. The bluetooth range is ok, but If you want something you can leave in one corner of the house and walk to the opposite side of the house this may not be what you're looking for. And the final thing is the battery life, it does last a really good amount if time, but to be honest I haven't timed it. All in all give it a try, for under 30 bux its definitely a bargain in my opinion.

Great speaker, great sound. I also have a monster Bluetooth speaker and the sound quality difference is barely noticeable. Battery life is excellent. You can get every bit of 30hours of playing. Only complaint is the bluetooth range. Absolutly terrible. If your 3-4ft away and walk behind something the speaker will start glitching. Other than that, great speaker.

This speaker works better than I expected, especially for the price. Excellent sound quality, easy to use, and it's tough to beat the price. It also doubles as a portable charger. Some may not like the Bluetooth range, but that doesn'the keep me from giving it 5 stars

This is a good all around speaker. It's easy to pair with blue tooth devices. Well made and water resistant. Good strong sound with no distortion. 4 stars because the range is not that great. It could be my mobile device though?

The Bluetooth speaker market is flooded with speakers in a wide range of prices. I did a lot of research on quality etc. But in reality buying a speaker requires you listen to them. My experience led me to group the available speakers in four groups. 1- speakers over $150 (ie Bose) 2- speakers over $150 that should be $50 (anything with a rappers name attached to it) 3- speakers $50 - $150. and finally speakers under $50. if you have features you must have, like waterproof, you have to pay what the market demand regardless. The Bose speakers, hands down had the best sound to me but were huge overkill to use in my car. The $150 range had great sound for the most part and the most discernible difference from the under $50 range. The Fugoo seemed the best in that $150 range as far as value goes. Now to the Insignia. On sale at $19.99 this speaker sounds as good and has as many if not more features than the rest of the speakers in the $50 to $150 range. Better and louder (less tinny) than the Altec Lansing, louder than the Sony. Features that are hit in miss in the rest of like speakers like USB port to charge your phone from, a reasonable speakerphone feature. On the con side the bluetooth connection does cut out momentarily every now and then, but again its a $19.99 speaker.

Love this device. Strong for the price, use it everyday. Not the most Bluetooth range at all but it got power in it and can charge your phone. That's quite dope in itself really.

i purchased this speaker to listen around the house and while im grilling outside. This speaker is bulky and heavy. The sound is decent and the Bluetooth range could be better. With that being said, this speaker has the best battery one could ask for. I have used this thing for 10+ hours without it dying. One time we had a power outage and my phone was almost dead. However, i was able to plug it into this speaker and it charged my phone significantly. Had I had the speaker fully charged it probably would have fully charged it. The fact that is served a second purpose in a time of need is reason to purchase it alone.

The power bank is a awesome feature. It connects via Bluetooth and you can plug an aux cord into it. The sound quality is good but you can't move your phone too far away or the sound will go out.

This is a great speaker especially for the price. My only complaint is that the range between device and speaker is pretty short (I would estimate 10 to 15 feet). Also the path between device and speaker must be free from obstructions. If you can keep your device really close to the speaker this is a really solid buy. It also has a power core so it holds a charge for a long time and can charge other devices.

When I initially purchased this speaker, I thought I would hardly use it all, but it's turned out to see way more use than my regular stereo as I now have an easy way to stream music wherever I happen to be. While I'm no great judge as to speaker quality, the speakers themselves are decent enough and I've never had an issue with the Bluetooth connection unless I try to move the speaker into a completely different room than the phone it's streaming through. Battery life so far seems excellent as I've yet to run the speaker to empty, even after multiple days of playing music while I'm working on projects around the house.

This speaker does everything I need and then some. My only complaint is the Bluetooth range seems a bit weak even when compared to some of my cheaper Bluetooth speakers. That being said it still works very well and has amazing sound.
