The speakers give a bit more bass than the cheaper Insignia model. Definitely long lasting battery. Sound could have been louder and better for the size and weight. Sound is better than the cheaper Insignia model. A bit on the heavier side too. Smells a bit weird (battery smell). Havent checked the water resistant feature.

This was on sale and I had a $5 gift card, so I opted to get this for $16.45 after taxes and my coupon and the sale. Really!?! This compares to a Braves I bought off QVC for $100 several years ago. It is a charging device, so it can charge your cell phone and or iPad. It also acts as a speaker phone. On top of this, it’s a Bluetooth speaker DUH! It has an input jack if your device doesn’t have Bluetooth capability. It is a little heavy due to the battery, but not a big deal as it can charge your devices and has A 30 to 40 hour battery life. One spot says 30, another says 40. When I use it at work, I just charge it once a week and it plays all day long, so it’s a long life battery. The sound is very good! It’s not a home audio system good, but it is very good. I prefer my Bose, and I have the colormate. I think the sound link sounds better than the color ate to give you a comparison. This definitely has a place though, especially at $40 or less. I love that I got it for $16.45, a steal of a deal. I have now bought 3 of these.

Got for travel and wanted smaller / lighter speaker as weight a big issue with flights. It easily connected out of box to bluetooth. It has nice sound. Good battery life. Overall very pleased.

Love tha camo look. Sound fills a quiet room. A little heavy for it's size. Charged twice in a week, with everyday use. Powerbank is a plus.

I bought these and regular ones with no power bank. This one is 1 lb heavier but up to 40 hours playback and built in powerbank. Perfect for bedroom use. It comes with micro USB cable so make sure to get Lightning Cables for Apple products and USB C for newer devices

This Insignia "brick" speaker is an improvement over the original Insignia design. I also own 2 original design speakers, they work fine, but they pale compared to the added features of the brick. I think the overall design is richer looking, it feels quite solid, however a bit heavier but, with a much longer battery life between charges. I'm ok with the small increase of weight for this trade off in battery life Another feature, I like, is the added input receptacle for direct wiring the sound from my devices. I have some cheap tablets that have fussy Bluetooth connectivity issues. Sometimes its just easier to add a connecting cable than to fiddle around with the Bluetooth settings on each of the tablets. I've had this speaker over a month now and I am very pleased with it. I don't know if there is a comparable speaker, for this price, on the market now.

This insignia blue tooth speaker sounds great. It paired easily and although is on the heavy side the ability to recharge your device with it more than makes up for the weight.

Easy to pair with computer, phone and iPad. Nice size, weight is a little heavier than anticipated. But overall great sound.

My husband was surprised to receive this on Christmas Day. He doesn't realize I do pay attention when he says something that might be nice to use while hanging out at the pool and the firepit during the summer with friends and neighbors! He was quite impressed with the sound that synced up with the Bluetooth from his phone. I was surprised of the heavy weight of this tiny speaker and quite impressed with the sound quality it emits! Got a super deal on it too!!!!!

Only flaw is color and weight. It's heavy. But DURABLE! Long battery life but the blue tooth signal is weak.

This handy little speaker creates excellant volumn and just enough base. It connects automatically with Bluetooth and although a bit heavy, it is compact in design. Perfect to produce loudy sound and music from my 8 inch tablet.

I love this thing, I haul it around when I want to hear tunes on the go. It's a bit too heavy and bulky to fully replace a battery pack, but its a great feature. Turns your phone into a boombox and keeps it running.

This is a great speaker for the price. Additionally you can use it as a power bank also. Only one issue I have is it's quite heavy for a Bluetooth speaker.

The only thing negative I can say is that it is very heavy. It is not a speaker you would carry around to use when on-the-go, otherwise, it works great!

I needed to quickly buy a bluetooth speaker that wasn't going to put a dent in my pockets. I am pleasantly suprised at how great this speaker is. I have the dark blue which is closer to a navy color than shown on the site. If you play the right songs, it sounds really loud. The only downside, really heavy bass songs make the speaker shake and it bounces a bit. The sound is not distorted, it sounds clear enough. It doesn't bring a wall charger, but I used my samsung charger to charge it instead of using a computer, which is what they suggest you do to charge it. It was very quick and easy to pair my ipad to it. It helped to get the party started, everyone was amazed how great it sounded and for the price, you can't beat it.
