I liked that it played really well with my phone and the other devices I tested inside the house but it wasn’t so great outside. I knew it wouldn’t of been as loud due to open space but I really couldn’t enjoy the music as much. Well the event I brought it for is done and I love using it in my bathroom to get me in a good mood while I shower. It’s loud enough to cover my bad singing, so that’s a plus. And my 3yr old loves dancing and singing with it as well.

I have to say the price I paid for it has been worth it. Very affordable and it has a great sound. I like that it's Bluetooth and I don't have to be so close to the speaker with my phone. Another plus is you can charge your phone or other devices with it.

Thought it will be a good attachment to the laptop but realized later that it will work just with a USB too

I use the speaker together with my laptop, as at times the volume of my laptop is not sufficient. I'm satisfied with the strength of volume in the speaker, and so far the bluetooth hasn't given me much trouble. It isn't as effective distance-wise as I thought it'd be, however, and works better if it's within say, 4 meters, with no obstruction in between. Also, it's true that when the battery begins to wane, it makes alarm sounds that don't quit until it has recharged a bit. However, it does work while it's hooked up to the computer to recharge, and the battery lasts for days when it IS charged. I also did use the speaker to charge my phone on one occasion and it worked great.

The speakers give a bit more bass than the cheaper Insignia model. Definitely long lasting battery. Sound could have been louder and better for the size and weight. Sound is better than the cheaper Insignia model. A bit on the heavier side too. Smells a bit weird (battery smell). Havent checked the water resistant feature.

Was easy to setup, worked perfectly to bluetooth and even to radio on cell phone. battery is good. Sound quality is good, its only $20 so your not getting an amazing sound but for being at beach or wherever it worked great. Its not super loud, but I recommend if you want to save money and have a portable speaker.

It is pretty loud and sounds good. like that it can charge my phone. The battery stays charged for a long time. The only thing I would have to say is that the Bluetooth distance does not go very far. Cuts off after being some few feet away. Very inexpensive so didn’t mind spending that money.

I like the size of it, makes it very portable. It can fit easily on my backpack. The battery life is pretty good, and together with the built-in power bank helps when my phone is running out of battery. It can sound a little muffle at times, but for its size, it is ok.

While I'm sure other Bluetooth speakers are louder, or have clearer sound, however, this suited my needs. Its water resistant (due to its full rubber exterior), which is nice. 32 hours of use time is AMAZING! PLUS, you can charge other devices with! So far so good.

My only complaint about my phone is that on some videos the sound level is really low to the point it's hard to make out what's being said. This device solves that as it gives you a nice, clear boost. Contrary to the product description, there are 4 speakers inside. 2 upfront and 2 in the back. All in all, for the money, it does provide decent sound. Not, maybe high end stereo quality, but infinitely bigger, deeper and louder than the somewhat tinny sounding single speaker in the phone. Then again, it didn't cost $300 either. So, for the money, it's definitely worth it. Oh, and as a bonus, it's got a battery extender built in. I haven't tried this feature. Note to Best Buy - it might be helpful to let people know how big the battery is. Other power banks on the market will tell you how many mAh you get.

I was able to pick up this speaker on sale for $29.99 (regularly $49.99). I also used a $5 reward certificate, so I actually paid $24.99. So half off regular price, and an obviously great deal for me. The pros: Inexpensive, water resistant, battery life, ability to charges devices from it. Battery life is the #1 reason to buy this speaker. Says it should last around 30 hours on a full charge. I am on around 20 hours now on the first charge, so that's more than doubles most other speakers already. The cons: The bass seems a little muffled, and it's overall not that extremely loud. I am using it in a master bathroom for listening while in the shower. It works fine for that. If you want to entertain a room of people with this speaker, it's not going to happen. Using it for a small room for 1 or 2 people, works great.

Okay, so let's get this out in the open right out front, this is a cheap speaker, and it sounds like a cheap speaker. Now that is out of the way, where it excels, the battery life is amazing, it is very light and portable, it has both front and back stereo speakers so you can fill a large area with sound (not the best quality sound, but still), and the ability to charge your phone off of the speaker battery while using the speaker is a cool plus. And yes, while I do kind of knock on the sound quality (it gets a bit tinny and has little bass), but for the price, I'm not sure I could find better. I use it to listen to podcasts while in the kitchen or yard, and for that the quality is good enough and the portability and long battery life more than make up for it.

The Insignia speaker came in camo, which is already a plus for me. I try to keep away from common colors in things I buy. The size of the speaker helps keep it from attracting attention when it's not in use. I'm able to keep in on a table in my living room without it sticking out like slightly bigger bluetooth speakers do. Sound quality is pretty good. I don't get the best bass out of it but music can be heard clearly from over 30' away over several conversations without it being on max volume. At max volume, the sound becomes distorted and fuzzy. The speaker tends to drop bluetooth signal at about 20-25 feet. Usually, I wouldn't be one to carry my phone around when using the speaker outside but for those who do, this will cause some problems.

This is actually the second Insignia Portable Bluetooth Speaker I've got here! Its an excellent sounding and well manufactured product, and it's actually a power bank as well, so if your phone gets low on battery from playing music, it can switch over & recharge it's battery. If the power bank is not needed, the life of a charge to play music with is well above average, lasting hours longer than most speakers on the market. After I got the first one of these, and lost or misplaced it, I tried other speakers on the market, but none had the battery life, sound quality and design and/or power bank also feature for anywhere near this price range. So, I came back for a second one. Highly recommended, unless you like problems.

Got for travel and wanted smaller / lighter speaker as weight a big issue with flights. It easily connected out of box to bluetooth. It has nice sound. Good battery life. Overall very pleased.

I use this speaker to improve the sound on my tablet, for audio books and music. I generally have problems using Bluetooth, but this speaker is easy to connect to. Sound is clear and uncolored. It has lots of volume. Being portable it fits easily in my backpack. Being battery powered, it is easy to set up. Turn on the speaker. Turn on the tablet bluetooth. Done. Let’s be honest, though. If you are looking for a speaker to get a whole room of people dancing, you will want something bigger and with stronger bass. But for any normal listening this works fine. Excellent value for the price.

I read the reviews. I purchased it and it's pretty good speaker for the money. It sounds loud enough for you and your circle. You can also feel the speaker vibrating bass when the volume is maxed. I told my wife she might like that!.:)

Works most of the time as well as one could expect of a small (stereo) Bluetooth speaker; sound is actually pretty good. Built-in battery holds a charge very well. It does sometimes have an issue with intermittently dropping out audio for a second. Keeping the speaker within four feet of the signal source seems to solve that problem, so I’m guessing it has a range problem rather than an interference problem. I got mine on discount around $20; pretty good for that price!

Insignia's smaller version of this speaker had a slightly better sound than this one as evaluated from memory(one was a gift). Both were purchased at a super low price so for the money that's OK. It has solid construction, very good battery life and is super to connect and use. CAMO color was only one left otherwise color is meaningless and besides why would anyone want to disguise or hide a bluetooth speaker? By the way, this was an open box purchase and was in new condition.

I really like this speaker. It works well for the size, has a USB ports for charging (in & out), produces good sound, and even looks pretty good. You can use Bluetooth or directly connect (3.5mm plug) your smart phone or MP3 player. You can even answer your phone with it. Volume, previous, next, and pause buttons. Very good value, especially when on sale-why buy anything that isn't on sale?
