Between points and being a deal of the day, I didn't pay much for this, but it seems like a great deal so far. Really like the large battery. Plays for a long time, plus you can use it to charge devices. Sound quality is good for its size. Certainly better than my laptop speakers! Sound effects with volume changes and power are a little annoying. Like that it's water resistant, but haven't tested that.

I recently bought this speaker from my local Best Buy. I have had a similar JBL but wasn't impress with the battery life which this speaker I can say has an very long life. We use it all weekend long and sound is great. Only draw back is the blue tooth range. I have found within 20 feet at very most it can still pick it up your phone. Other then that I highly recommend this speak. Good product for the price.

Great speaker that is LOUD when needed. I love that it's waterproof because I keep in the bathroom and reach out to change the track if needed. I also like that the speaker serves as a portable battery pack if you're ever in dire need to recharge something. Only problem is sometimes you have to reconnect your device with the bluetooth. But it's still a great speaker for the price.

I bought both the Insignia™ - Portable Bluetooth Stereo Speaker and the Harman-Kardon One Bluetooth speaker as a present for my husband so he could decide which one he liked better. Both sound good, both have microphones so you use it with a telephone call, both work well with FaceTime. This was important as the mic on his iPad doesn't work anymore. And both have a 5mm port that you can use with a non Bluetooth audio device. Music sounds great on both. However, the maximum volume on the Insignia is about ½ the loudest on the Harman-Kardon. That was ok by him, as he doesn't like really loud music. The Insignia came with a USB port so that you can also charge a device at the same time you charge the speakers. No, you can't charge a device while using the speakers. It's either on, off, or charge. But you can use the speakers while they are plugged in and charging (on both). The battery life of the Insignia is about 30 hours and the Harman about 5, according to their respective instruction pages. I haven't tested this yet. When using the speakers with FaceTime I heard muffled, windy, but soft, noise on the Harman but not on the Insignia. Since the Harman costs 4 times the Insignia, I thought I shouldn't hear any noise. So, because there is longer battery life, USB charging of an external device, no noise when using FaceTime, and ¼ the price, we kept the Insignia speaker. But if you want to have really loud music, like at a party, or outdoors, the Harman is a great choice.

I've had this speaker for a little while now and I have to say I'm am very pleased with the sound quality. As far as the build quality I can't really complain, but I do wonder how much abuse the rubber around the unit will last. I feel it's very possible I could tear or blister under heavy/rough use. But it's definitely not something I find to be enough to turn me away from it. Like I said the sound is pretty good, it has a nice range. I feel that this unit is more well suited for someone whom listens to a variety of genres of music. Has decent, punchy, bass response, nice mids, and good high end. If your a heavy bass head this may not suit your fancy, but I still say it's quite good. As far as the battery bank feature I have used it, not extensively but enough to feel that it does the job. The bluetooth range is ok, but If you want something you can leave in one corner of the house and walk to the opposite side of the house this may not be what you're looking for. And the final thing is the battery life, it does last a really good amount if time, but to be honest I haven't timed it. All in all give it a try, for under 30 bux its definitely a bargain in my opinion.

Great speaker for the price! Got it during holiday season for around $25. Great sound quality and Bluetooth range. Only negative is when volume is on full blast, speaker tends to move significantly across the surface it's on (even with its rubber exterior). Great battery life too. Can't forget - it doubles as a portable device charger as well !

Insignia - Portable Bluetooth Stereo Speaker - Boysenberry is an excellent speaker for its size and price. First off the battery lasts a long time. I have it on from 10AM - 5:30PM, Monday - Saturday, and only needs to be charged once a week. Next, the sound is crisp and can fill the whole art studio without distorting the sound. Finally, the price is mind blowingly cheap compared to other quality speakers.

After purchasing this along with the Harman Kardon One, I decided to keep the insignia. While the HK One did produce a better sound, it wasn't so much better that it justified spending another $130 for it. Also, the battery life on this is amazing! At just under 30hrs, it blows away everything else, also serving as a backup charger for cell phones, etc. You can't beat the value this speaker offers.

This speaker was easy to set-up and use. It provides decent sound. The battery works for a very long time. It is not loud. In an office, or even as background music, it works great. While exercising in the company fitness room, the speaker was hard to hear over the sound of the fans and the exercise equipment. However, for the $25 price tag, it is a very good purchase.

Great speaker, great sound. I also have a monster Bluetooth speaker and the sound quality difference is barely noticeable. Battery life is excellent. You can get every bit of 30hours of playing. Only complaint is the bluetooth range. Absolutly terrible. If your 3-4ft away and walk behind something the speaker will start glitching. Other than that, great speaker.

I was hesitant to buy this, I was worried that it was going to be only slightly louder than my phone speaker but the sound it puts out fills my work out room (It’s a small to medium sized room). Yes I could have opted for something more high scale but this works for what I need. The charge on this things lasts for a long time and it pairs easily.

This is a very descent sounding Bluetooth speaker. It is water resistant and also will charge a cell phone. It also works as a speaker phone for your cell phone calls. It could use a little more bass. But, all speakers in this price could as well. It works well and was a very nice gift that I was proud to give. And they really liked it and where impressed with it.

Good sound for size, great volume, and I can be a good distance away. I got this as a test to see how much I would use a Bluetooth speaker and have used it more than I thought I would. The battery has not been charged and I've used it for over 20 hrs. The quality is better than I expected and I don't see the need to upgrade in the near future.

This speaker works perfect for my purposes - but is not really a great speaker for the bathroom if your bathroom gets steamy. There are better water tolerant speakers out there. For the price, this probably deserves a 5 star. Sound is pretty good, I haven't gone out of the range of the speaker, but within 10 feet it has been flawless. It gets loud enough in a quiet environment, might not do so well on a loud bus or in a big space with background noise. Connecting to my tablet was painless enough, although swapping from tablet to phone and back to tablet required a revisit to the owners manual. Charge has lasted a full day of use (9 hours) with no signs of stopping, so the 15 hour life seems legit. It's limits: volume isn't really that loud, although it also depends on the source feeding into it. The warnings about exposing the speaker to moisture makes me wonder if it can take a splash or a humid room without failing. It isn't real light and doesn't have convenient handles or clips like some other small speakers do...it is kind of a tweener - which was what I wanted.

The sound output is pretty good for this type of speaker. Not too loud but really good for hearing music. Setup is fairly easy. The best is that you can use it as a back up battery for your devices. Plus you can use the audio jack if you want in the rear as well.

This is a fantastic deal -- excellent stereo sound, plenty loud volume and it doubles as a phone charger! What more can you ask for? I used it for a business trip when I was driving a company car without bluetooth. I was able to hear it just fine over the road noise -- sounded great for phone calls, music, audiobooks and podcasts!

I absolutely love this speaker. Use it with my iPhone. Very easy to set up Bluetooth connection. The battery charge lasts a very long time. The sound quality is very surprising for such a low priced speaker. Small size makes it very easy to take with you. Best Buy has this speaker on sale much of the time for half price. A great value for a great product.

This Bluetooth speaker sounds as good or better than units costing much more. Its got good volume and nice bass for it's size. We love to use it when we're camping. It's great for listening to tunes around the he campfire without disturbing all of our neighbors. I loved it so much that I bought a second one for the house.
