This device controls my audio and video equipment in a closet behind the tv. Unfortunately, the stick -em on the sensors can only be used once. When I adjusted the location, the stick-em stayed stuck on the surface and I had to use a strip of duct tape. It would be better with a velcro type holder.

This remote extender kit allowed me to put all of the components (DVD player, cable box, etc.) in a cabinet below the TV and close the door but still be able to control the devices. It works well and it's easy to install. The only thing I don't like about it is that you have to be straight in front (or close enough) in order for it to work.

This remote extender is old school in design... so it's not for everyone. But, if you are looking for an easy plug and use extender for basic electronics, this is a great choice. It fit the bill perfectly for our intended use... easily turning on multiple components of our surround sound and TV at the same time. Good purchase. Thanks!

Inexpensive. Simple to install. Worked fine right out of the box.

Easy to hook up and use. The main wire could be a little longer.

Great repeater--successfully repeats a very non-standard IR signal. However, I only needed a repeater for one device; for me, this item would've been better had the repeaters for other devices been optional. It'd also have looked better, as my application is very visible.

This product is good and easy to install and a great price. I am a retired cabinet shop owner which I had for 17 years.

This IR Extender has been working fine now for several months. The only thing I would like changed is to add a connector on the cable so that it can be extended with an audio or other type of cable. Other IR extenders I have purchased in the past had this feature. Other than that it works well and I am very happy with it.

Sound bar blocks remote sensor. This item makes it easy to control television. Also controls other components: xbox, wii, dvd player.

We have a sound bar we put on the wall directly behind the tv was not able to get the remote to work. Hooked this thing up and wola the remote works again! Pros: easy to setup, lots of connections Cons: Bad double sided tape to hold the IR eye and the receiver had to purchase more tape to make it work

The item was easy to install and it works. My only concern is that the distance the remote works is not as long as I would like. The range appears to be about 30' and I wish it was longer.

Was looking for a way to not have to leave cabinet door open to use TV remote to cable box Read reviews and decided this product would do what I want. Would give a five but the adhesive provide to attach sensor to cable box either came off or wouldn't stick. Had to use masking tape to put the sensor in place.

This worked very well with my tv. I was able to hide my components on a closet and this helped control them.

This was very easy to install and it resolved all the issues I was having with opening and closing the cabinet door to change channels.

Needed an IR replacement system for allowing remote control to work behind cabinet doors. Easy to install and works great for a great price.

This was purchased to help an elderly person who was having trouble with “line of sight” infra-red on 3 components. All on, all off, was an issue and frustrating. This item was a suggestion from sales clerk (I didn’t know this existed) and once installed (easy install with no programming required) you just point remote to one item and everything comes on at once. No waiting The only problem is the sticky tape doesn’t stay where put... I needed to use regular tape. But this works like a charm!

Works pretty well. I needed it because my sound bar is blocking the sensor on my tv. It was very easy to setup. My only issue is that I still have to aim it at the tv sensor to power it on, but once on, it's good to go.
This is a great little item, that solved my issue of being able to reach all of the items that I need to control. The inclusion of spare adhesive pads, means that this will last once you change out components of your system, and have to peel the emitters off. There is a subtle blue LED that flickers as it receives IR signal.

hooked this up with my cable tv box and AV receiver. A little tricky finding the IR receiver spot on my boxes. But with trial and error got I going. My cable TV remote now operates the two devices with the cabinet doors close. Would prefer a RF remote but too expensive.

This remote extender kit enables us to be able to connect wirelessly with our blu-ray dvd player and the tv due to tv being installed on porcelain-tile covered fireplace and the blu-ray player being behind that fireplace in a hall closet. Makes it much easier for those items to communicate.
