Works Surprisingly Well

So, it is not a permanent solution. Other than that, this works wonderfully. Used it with the hard drive from my previous computer that died. Plugged it in and was able to recover all my old data files.

It cleaned the drive perfectly and made a perfect copy of win 11 that works perfict. Even though win 11 isn't perfict.

Plug the drive in before you plug the adapter in

You have to unplug the adapter and swap the drive and then plug the adapter back in. You can't just unplug the drive and plug in the next one. This is in both Linux and Windows. If you plug in the adapter first and then plug in the drive, the drive will not be recognized by either operating system or even show up in /dev Other than that it works great. My speeds were consistently maxed out with it plugged into a thunderbolt port.

It did read one of my drives howevernit didnt read the other. Not sure if that was due to the age of the other drive or something else. Overall, i am completely satisfied.

My mom’s computer was curated and could not access her documents and we were lucky to finally be able to access them using this.
