Read an old drive the easy way!

The SATA to USB-C Adapter for 2.5” SATA Drives - Black works flawlessly for my application. I am running Windows 11 and have a solid state drive removed from a failing computer. I connected the drive to the cable and plugged it into one of my USB C ports. It connected immediately and I can now access the data for transfer to another drive as needed. The use of a USB C connection means that copying is fast and efficient.

Simple to use. No setup required and very low cost. I needed this to check if my security system drive was working correct. This allowed for me to verify it was the hard drive that failed and not the system.

I use this alot in my flip builds. Clean 2.5" sata ssd with ease with this. Plug it in to the ssd and then my laptop, use diskpart to clean and reformat the ssd. Perfect!

Easily recovered photos I though I’d lost

I have a number of old laptop and external drives I’ve been wanting to pull photos and video from for ages. This was the perfect solution! Very simple plug and play connection that makes your old SSDs act like USB sticks so you can recover files easily. I’ve finally been able to destroy and disposable and drives that were just taking up drawer space.

Quick and easy. Bought this adapter and used it to quickly back up 500 GB of files to an external SSD drive before installing internally in my son's desktop. The data copy was fast and seamless, and speeds were great with the USB-C port/connection compared to the standard USB-A adapters that I was using previously.
