Well pull out your hard drive and hook it to your new computer and get all that you saved. Just plug and play and save your docs.

There was no need to download additional deivers. I was able to boot my operating system (linux) ff of an ssd connected through this usb cable after my internal nvmi sad failed.

How ever it connected to the drives like it was supposed to.

This adapter is small and easy to use. I also like that it utilizes the newer USB-C connector. Many similar adapters use the old style USB 2.0 or 3.0 connector.
