It meets the reasons for me buying it. It is durable, it protects the camera lens on the back of the phone and it has protected the edge of the phone from chipping or breaking the glass. Finally the cost was reasonable when I purchased it.

I also like the fact that the case doesn’t chip or scuff really when you drop it. I’m sure if I dropped it hard enough it would but anything else would too.

Seems to protect the phone fine. Insignia brand is a better value than Apple's similar case and other name brands. I just wish it were more sustainable (e.g., made from recycled materials), so subtracting one star.

This case does what i needed it to do. It’s about as basic as a case can be, however its design allows for sufficient access to all the controls. I don’t think it would offer much drop protection, I’ve had Otterbox cases that offer much better drop protection.
