Product is a semi soft, rubbery to the touch case with elastic straps to hold your various handheld gaming devices in place as well as the cartridges and chargers. I had mistakenly thought it was a more fitted case where you could play the DS-XL while it was in the case like Speck makes for laptops. It works well for a 6 year old and is handsome and durable.
