Highly reccommend for $5.99 this case if you have a new 3ds xl. It fits perfectly, it adds needed bulk for my hands. My hands used to cramp up over long sessions, but with this case i can play comfortably for much longer. It has the bonus of holding two game cartiages as well. My case is the black/black one.

Pros: Seems to offer good protection and has the excellent feature of doubling as a storage device for 2 extra carts. Cons: The bulky but sleek design of the N!3DS gets considerably bulkier with this on. I'd estimate that it takes up effectively double the space. So if you wanted to stick it in your pocket this is not for you. Also it's a bit difficult to handle if you don't have big hands and can feel quite heavy after a bit. After reading that you might be wondering why I gave it 4 stars. Simply put, it's what I needed. I needed a solid case but could never bring myself to move my 3DS in and out of a carrying case constantly to keep it safe on the go. I wasn't particularly fond of many other hard snap-on cases because I play 2-3 games at a time and would inevitably lose the catriges if I carried them lose. This was the only case that solved both problems. How could they improve? Simply proportion it differently so that the weight is distributed more evenly when in the hands or on a flat surface.

I purchased more than one of these. Made via Best Buys brand Insignia it has a lot to say for itself. It fits perfectly. The rubber outer skin will never let your Nintendo Entertainment System fall to the ground. One of the TOP features is the back of the clamp on case holds TWO (2) GAMES!! Genius! Now wheres the version for the Nintendo Switch ??

I randomly grabbed this case when I decided to spontaneously buy my 3ds XL. This case has a cool rubbery feel to it, which gives it a good grip!! And also the best part is that it can hold up to two of your games on the back of it. So if you're ever traveling, you don't have to worry about carrying a bag with your games. Just pop them on the back!! This case is a must have.

First off, this case is well worth the money, especially if you belong to gamers club and get the discount on the accessory! It isn't as bulky as you would initially think. It has the non slip rubber surface and it holds two additional games. Perfect for sliding into your pocket and not worrying about where you'll place your lose cartridge games. Secondly, instead of using the top half piece, I kept my zelda case on their to keep the look I wanted but also have additional storage and non slip surface with the bottom piece from this. It's also fairly tough and has already proven to protect from a short tumble fall that happened when moving stuff around. I wouldn't recommend just dropping it to test its protective features, but it did protect from a 3-4 ft fall.

This fits my New 3DS XL perfectly. Provides decent protection from scratches. Gives it a good grip. It looks nice and stylish at the same time. Doesn't cover any ports and there's a label for them too. Easy to install and uninstall. On top of that it can hold 2 cartridges on the back for games on the go. If you don't have this yet, then you're missing out. I got this for a really good price when Best Buy had it on sale for about $3, when I think it's worth at least $15. Worth every penny!

Was looking for a good case able to stand up to my son's real life durability testing. This case fits well and looks good. The extra slots for 2 additional games is a nice plus.

I love how sturdy the case is and how you can easily grip the 3DS XL with it on. A nice bonus is that you can store two games on the back of the case.

I bought this item on clearance because I'm very clumsy and had just bought a New Nintendo 3DS XL. This has a nice non-slip texture, it's pretty lightweight, and it's definitely sturdy (I've dropped my system several times since I got the case, several were on the corners, and there hasn't been any damage). I also really enjoy the extra storage for 2 game cartridges on the back. This case is functional without adding too much extra weight or bulk to the system.

This is a well made cover and fits great.. Good access to all external hook ups. Has provisions to hold two games.

Imagine a better world, where your brand new 3ds wasn't susceptible to the damage and wear and tear associated with handhelds. Imagine that your day wouldn't be ruined if it slips out of your hand. Time wouldn't slow down, you wouldn't desperately grasp thin air to save the doomed, expensive device. You would be merely holding it and playing it, because the grip on it is effective and it is well protected if it did fall. No drama needed.

This case fits the New 3ds XL perfectly. It's not as bulky as the Nerf cases and probably doesn't offer the same drop protection but it protects the outside from minor bumps and scratches. It's also got a rubberized coating that gives it a comfortable, ease to grip texture.

This case does add some bulk to your 3DSXL, so folks with large hands may appreciate this. The grip is good, and it allows you to carry two game cartridges. The case is very sturdy.

This case is sturdy and so far has been protecting our son'so new 3ds xl. He loves that the case has storage pockets where he can keep a couple games with him so he can switch them out.

This great is wonderful. Sturdy and has a great feel that prevents slipping. The storage slots on the back are a nice touch. Bought it for my 8 year old now my 11 year old wants one.

So far so good. Really like that it has a place to carry 2 games also so my son doesn't have to carry anything extra. Plus the price was right on it since it was on clearance.

Protect, slim, and good price. This product it's is simple yet effective . Nothing great , nothing bad it's just s case and does what it suppose to do protect my ds yo!

The Nintendo 3DS XL Case is a very sturdy and protects the Nintendo from spills and accidental droppings. Great for kids of all ages.

This case is very good. I like that it has a rubberized grip so it does not easily slip out of your hands. Only thing that bothers me a little is that it can feel a little clunky sometimes.

It's a great case. Makes it just a little heavier, but the protection, 2 slot game holder, and grip benefits makes it a must buy.
