This is a great replacement power supply. I got it originally because I left home without one. Now I plan to use it for travel so I can leave my original power supply where it is and keep this one in my travel bag. Small and lightweight is a big plus.

This works with my Lenovo Y510P gaming laptop even though it's only 90W (the Lenovo needs 120W). That said, you need to be careful in not draining so much current from normal use (ie. high brightness, loud audio, running lots of graphics, etc...). I left my adapter at the office while traveling and this was a life saver and it helped me with doing the presentation and demo of software. Construction is solid and the unit is compact. It does have other adapters that you can use for other laptops which is nice. I wish they have a higher capacity unit (ie. 120W) and I would buy it in a flash.

This has a perfect fitting lead for the HP Envy series. It did not have one that fit the ThinkPad I use for work, however. Regardless, the power supply works perfectly: it's thin, light and does not heat up like the stock power supply does. A great, reliable replacement.

Only problem the cord is shorter than average. Please make a longer cord for ease of use and safety.

I bought this for an old chromebook and it works just at good as the factory one. I like that it’s interchangeable for every type of laptop, and for a great price! Good buy!

Compact, lightweight and easy to use at home or for travel. I travel with a Dell and Asus laptop and can use this power adapter for charging both laptops. It saves space, weight and simple to setup. I am very pleased with this product.

Nice and light, but I wish the cord were a little longer. The power brick isn't long enough to reach the ground on some tall tables.

This has enhanced my life during road trips. Everyone gets to charge their mobile or lap top devices. Makes for an enjoyable ride reducing trip anxiety...lol

This slim adaptor is one of the best travel adaptor's I have purchased over the past 10 years and I have purchased quite a few. It worked seamleslly with my laptop (no error messages) and is extremely light for travel.

Very versatile and provides the best of alternatives. This item is reasonably priced and meets all of my requirements. I recommend this product.

Needed a spare power adapter for my laptop when traveling (don't want to take mine in case I lose it). This adapter is perfect for this. Also, if I replace my current computer I will always have a spare adapter.

On a business trip, I discovered I forgot my AC adapter at home. In a panic to charge my laptop up before a presentation, I bought a name-brand universal adapter that claimed to fit my brand of laptop, but none of the tips did. This insignia one did, though, and even came in a smaller, slimmer profile, so it actually makes my bag lighter than with the branded adapter my machine came with! My only comment would be that the tip is a bit long for my laptop, so it sticks out a bit, and LOOKS like it is loose. It only looks that way, though; the tip is totally stable and makes a great connection. Overall, this is a fantastic replacement for the stock adapter my Samsung laptop came with. Thanks!

My previous universal laptop charger required knowing polarity, voltage, and amps with lots of adapter plugs. This one only requires knowing the brand of laptop which corresponds with one of six adapters and then the unit auto senses the rest for you. No problems getting hot either. It's worth the price for ease and peace of mind.

It does the job with every laptop I’ve used it with. I love it and I think it’s the best value around, it is too Pricy - period BUT it’s made of good quality material and I highly doubt it’ll ever break - so hefty and very crafty how it’s made ;) I’ve had a couple break but they were made of bad materials. This one should last a lifetime.
