I bought a couple sets of these plugs to hook up my existing speaker wire to a new Onkyo stereo system with speakers. They are easy to install and use with no tinning of the bare wires necessary. A very small screwdriver such as a jeweler's screwdriver is needed to tighten the two screws on each plug. As others have pointed out, place a cloth beneath the plug and wire you are working on because you probably will drop one or more of the tiny screws. The only downside: Rather expensive for what they are.

the Banana jacks were good 4☆ rating. only reason I give them 4 instead of 5 is because the rubber boot could have been a little longer.

This was my first time using them and the only reason I got them was because my speaker box had the female end installed already. These banana plugs were easy to install onto the wire even easier plugging into the female end. Also makes it easy too plug and unplug for whatever reason. They are quick, easy, and useful. Well worth it.

I’ve wired my last two homes with reams of copper speaker wire through walls and twisted up into the backs of receivers, where every few weeks or so, my leaning Tower of Home Theater gets bumped and of the twisted stalks of L or R surround wire gets pulled loose - I always wondered what thise gold conduits were on each terminal that seemed so inviting and sturdy and convenient... I’ve since moved to a wireless Atmos system but that’s beside the point - with these plugs, I was able to repurpose my aging Onkyo HD 7.1 receiver and Klipsch pro media speakers to realize crisp, punchy Dolby surround on my PC. These plugs were clutch because the klipsch speakers use clips, so the wire I had needed a different conduit to utilize those elusive terminals. Screwed the plugs into the wire, slid them into place on the receiver and bam! Ups and running in minutes. Felt a bit foolish that this solution has probably been around for decades, but a sound delay is preferable to dead air :p.

I needed a quick solution for speakers I purchased at the time. I did not want to wait for Amazon shipping (even though it’s free and fast). These were easy to attach than other plugs I purchased. I like the small size of these unlike many other plugs I used. I will end up using these when I decide to clean-up the wires connected to my receiver. Great product!

My new speakers required Banana plugs but my stereo receiver did not so I decided to give these a try. they were very easy attach to my speaker wire and the work well with my set-up. the quality of the music definitely sounds better to me than without these attaching to my speakers.

Purchased these as I’ve had to move my home theater setup more then once and connecting wires was getting tiring, these have a dual pin system to hold the wire so you ensure you get a good connection. Quick and easy to install and now unplugging the speakers takes 30 seconds for all 5 when needed!

Had to move my stereo cabinet from its location for remodeling, in the move lost 3 plugs. These were as close as I could get for 3 with a better price than buying them individually, worked perfect, easy to connect, good fit when plugged in.

Needed a banana plug with screw in connection. Speaker wire had solder covering the exposed wire. So, using the terminal binding post was a hassle. And using banana plugs where you fold back the wire also wouldn't work. Run wire through the sleeve after pulling sleeve off metal terminal, loosen the screws and run stripped wire inside metal part. Fasten the screws so they firmly tighten the wire to the terminal. Then pull the sleeve back over the screws and wire. Easy to use and did the job. Only tools needed are wire stripper and small screwdriver.

I needed an inexpensive and easy to install set of banana plugs for 14 gauge cable. No need for expensive plugs. These were easy to install with a secure fit that looks appropriate for the cable size. Highly recommended for quick fixes and low to mid end systems.

I purchased simultaneously with a audio TV receiver. It was very easy to strip the wires and connect the banana plugs. My connection is very good and I would highly recommend anyone purchase. The price was also very good .

These plugs are very easy to attach to the ends of speaker wires. Set screws eliminate the need to solder and the fit into the connectors on the back of my home theater is perfectly snug. I couldn't be any happier!

These banana plugs actually work pretty good. They make good connections and there is no need to worry whether they are durable enough to last. My only issue is that the rubber sleeve slides too easily. Therefore, when you are pushing it into the component or pulling it out, it tends to slide and you have to hold it a certain way to ensure that it doesn't. However, for the price compared to others that are sold, I would purchase them again.

These are the best Banana plugs I have ever used. It is very easy to disconnect and move the speakers if you have to, you never have to compromise on quality of sound.

Awesome banana plugs for the price I paid. If I had to pay regular price I would have felt I overpaid, but with my loyalty points, I paid less than half. Easy to install and decent quality.

Great product. This Insignia/Best Buy brand was very quick and easy to use and install. Much better than the Rock Fish brand.

These banana plugs are high quality and real easy to use. Also, the cost was reasonable compared to other plugs I was looking at.

These banana plugs are as simple to install on speaker wire as you can possibly want! And not only that, they are very well made and great value for the price.

If you have 14 awg wire or smaller these work well and are descent quality. If you can get them on sale, it's a steal.

Connectors are real easy. If you have speaker wires that are not secure, these will help you get a better connection. Worth every penny
