    I have had issues with other affordable earbuds being too flimsy. The Skullcandy Ink'd earbuds have a special flat wire that adds to sturdiness, and the same type of wiring can be found in this Insignia pair. Having given my Skullcandy's away, I found these as a possible cheaper alternative and their sound quality and sturdiness have not disappointed.
