Got this for my girlfriend for a last minute job at a wedding. It does the job.

I compared this flash to the canon flash that is $250 and found that they are very similar. Canon flash has a few more options but the the insignia flash is very close for $70.

Perfect lens for a beginner. Easy to maneuver and use.

I was between getting this and and entry level canon flash. This flash works great and looks good. My only issue was that it had issues after using it moderately (4-5 pictures) - it would stop responding until I turned it off and on. I tried waiting close to 30 seconds but still had to cycle it on and off to get it to function again. Might have been the bad one in the bunch, but if other than that the flash quality/tone was is comparable to the higher end flashes. I would recommend giving it a chance before considering higher end models for double/triple the price.

Uses it with my canon rebel t3i. My first flash I've owned. Takes 4 AA batteries and takes about 200-300 photos per sets of batteries. Works well and sits nice on the hot shoe. Simple to use.

This speed light works great with my Cannon 6D. It does exactly what I need it to do.

Bought this to use for my grandsons b-day pics, would have benefited from ttl or at least variable power setting. For a basic power flash or slave it's fine, not as a primary (for me)

What a huge difference in pictures. Take note photographers, this is a good price point and addition to give your photos some life. If there is one add on that your cam needs ( no matter which camera you have), you must get this flash. Thank you BB for your selection and affordability!

Both manuals in the pkg. were in Spanish. I suspect there should have been one in English but there wasn't. I looked up online what I could find but there was not enough information given for me to determine if I am using it properly or if it is working off camera. On-camera, it works great, but as remote I don't know for lack of mfg. guidance.

I am very pleased with the quality of this flash. I didn't want to spend a lot of money so I researched this product and was very pleased with what I read! For what I was looking for in a flash, this fills my needs!

I had one when I had a 35 mm camera couldn't live without when I changed over to digital camera it was to expensive until now thank you...

I picked this flash up for my second shooter to use with my backup camera. It works great. The TTL was fantastic. Very easy to use. It also "talked" to my canon flash without any issues. Fantastic flash for a super great price.

Over all great flash I use it with Lumix G6 it works really well. I will buy it again if it goes bad.

i was going to purchase a canon speedlite flash when another customer told me about this flash! and I'm glad he did! saved me a LOT OF $$$!!!!!

Easy to use, straight to the point! Gets the job done without any issues. This unit performed the same as my $500 flash.

Works well with my Canon but wish it's turn around time was faster sometimes I feel like it takes forever to recycle to power up another flash

This cost a fraction of the price of my Canon speedlite! it is very basic doesn't have all the features of a Canon , I use it anytime I don't want to take my expensive equipment out. The lock-in feature isn't great, there is a dial you turn to tighten and secure it into the hotshot , it tends to loosen and get a bit wobbly and loosen often.

i didn't want to spend tons of money on an external flash but this works just fine. great build and very sturdy.

This is awesome. I love all the little features this flash has.
