I bought a Canon EOS 70D. I looked into purchasing and actual Canon flash, saw the price and went straight to Best Buy. This flash is perfect for my needs. Works fine and is priced within my budget. Great Flash for a Great Price!

The Canon flash was a bit too pricey for me.. so read the reviews and decided on the Insignia .. so far so good.

I have the Canon 70D and it's great. One place it's not so great is the internal flash. Because of that, I needed an external flash to help get my subjects who would be at a farther distance. There are many different brands and kinds so researching can be mind numbing. I spent hours trying to decide what would be in my best interest. With that said I finally decided to go with this because of Bestbuys return policy. I figured that if it did not do what I needed I would have no problems being able to return it and no games with waiting on shipping. So I can report I did not need to take it back. It's not as fancy as some of the others I looked at online but it does the job and does it well for what I need.

Was looking for a cheap flash to learn how to shoot with one, and this had good reviews and a cheap price relative to the Canon one with comparable features. I'll probably upgrade eventually, but for now this one is more than enough to learn with.

the light is good for the pictures, it is a good item for the camera
