Yes, the first one delivered by UPS was previously opened, missing hardware and damaged, with a cracked door and somehow the glass on the doors was removed (even though it’s not supposed to be removable). It was a hassle to load into the car and I’m sure it weighs at least 150lbs. But it was still worth it. The replacement, which the store manager sent by BestBuy home delivery arrived 5 days later in perfect condition. Took under a half hour to assemble. The engineering is the best I’ve ever seen in assembly required furniture, because the metal frame opens like an accordion and has only a few pieces to assemble. The glass is strong, excellent quality tempered glass. It’s is extremely sturdy. The claims that the glass shelves couldn’t hold 4 pounds in some reviews are definitely a lie. It looks sleek and modern and a little 80’s retro, which is nice. It also has Velcro on the back for cord management. It does a good job at keeping all of the wires off the floor for a neat look. At this price, it’ll be hard to beat this TV stand. Yes, it was a bummer getting a damaged open box item the first time, but BestBuy is a great store overall and stood by their product.

I honestly scrolled through what felt like hundreds of TV stands before coming across this one. I love it! First off... The packaging: it was packed extremely well and very secure. The box is lined with thin plywood so the contents are protected and the box maintains its shape. Inside everything is layered with foam and wrapped so if it does get jostled in transport it won’t scratch the wood The assembly: the instructions are clear and easy to follow. It did take some elbow grease because I had a screw driver so I did everything by hand. If you have a power drill it’ll save you time and energy, if not it’s definitely still simple. It’ll be easier with two people just because you’ll have another set of hands to hold things but it’s doable alone as I did it myself. I’d say just set aside one hour to get it done alone The product: I’m SO pleased! It’s solid and gorgeous. The wood stain is very similar to a caramel color but has nice marveling of a lighter color throughout so it’s not a flat color by any means. A pleasant surprise for me was the doors are the soft shut doors so they guide themselves closed instead of them just slapping shut. The stand is very sturdy and easily supports my 65” TV. It has plenty of shelving for devices or decor. It has a wonderful mid century modern appearance that’ll go well with antique or newer pieces. Over all I’m extremely pleased and highly recommend!!!

Quick delivery and easy assembly, screwdriver and utility knife are all you need to make the build as quick as possible. There's lots of cardboard (& messy packaging) to get through, so the utility knife will make getting to stuff a lot easier/faster. The stand is solid quality, the doors work well and the holes behind all 6 shelves is a good feature, plus the glass tint makes the stand look great. Overall workmanship and spacing for glass panel placement could be improved a little bit. The packaging overall was quite messy, a lot of the Styrofoam that was used had deteriorated, so there was a lot of Styrofoam crumbles in my living room after unpacking everything (expect to have to do some vacuuming after assembling the stand for the cleanup process). Also, not quite sure the parts were protected all that well anyways. My top glass panel came with a pretty noticeable crack (TBD if it still maintains its structural integrity). The main stand itself was also dinged up in a corner. The touch-up marker it comes with makes it look better at least, but if you're paying full price for the stand this isn't really acceptable. Overall a good buy if you can get it slightly discounted. If you're having to pay full price for this level of quality, maybe weigh your options a little bit more before committing.

Needed an inexpensive but nice looking TV stand. Best Buy had a great selection. Be warned. This one took some time to put together but everything was there and went together easily. Just took a few hours. Oh. It is Heavy so do not plan on moving it by yourself! Glass doors and shelves weigh a ton. It look nice!

I have assembled many types of furniture over the years, but by far this is the easiest and best designed I have ever experienced. The unit comes partially assembled so that the first 30% of the build is done, right out of the box. The rest is very straightforward using the excellent build instructions. I really like the hand screws for locking/securing the folding frame. The only tools I used were a utility blade and a small Phillips screwdriver. I did clean any surface that required a dome rubber bumper with glass cleaner. Everything aligned/fit perfectly and the result is beautiful - plenty of room for an AV receiver, center channel speaker, Blue Ray player and I believe, an XBOX series X. (with room to spare. We will be placing an LG 77 inch TV (79 lbs) on top. Its screen will extend just a couple of inches past the sides of the stand - no big deal. Don't forget to buy a surge protector and speaker and subwoofer cable if necessary.

This item is a quality product and well designed for easy assembly. I'm impressed by the rich look which compliments my speaker cabinets which flank it. My only objection is that the shelves are not adjustable. I had to have risers cut to support shelves at the heights I wanted. Luckily, elimination of a shelf in the right section, gave me an extra one to use in the center.

Upgraded my TV from 55" to 65" and it looked ridiculous on my old stand. After months on various sites, I came across this Insignia piece and took a chance. It was incredibly easy to assemble (almost all in one piece with minor installation points for shelves). It's very sturdy and the web photos don't give it justice in terms of looking like a high quality piece of furniture. It holds my 65" TV along with a large soundbar easily. Would definitely recommend.

Outstanding product. Not cheaply made but very heavy duty with glass metal and wood. The best bang for the buck out there and also functional and really nice looking. Highly recommend.

very nice looking and quite sturdy, was also surprised that this is real wood with metal framing and tempered glass, not cheap laminated chip board, did a diy mod with an 18 inch Belleze electric fireplace insert for the center section " instead of the open tempered glass shelf" Assembly was much easier than similar products being that this is already half assembled out of the box.

Great media center and sturdy structure. I have a 65” sitting on top but the glass is thick it can easily handle 85” and I’m planning on putting one on it. It holds my center speaker and PS5 and Marantz with no issues. I opted not to put the handles so that toddlers won’t be able to open the doors :-D P.S. my brother bought the same media center but received a broken leg cover and one of the doors wasn’t perfectly put together… your result may vary just FYI.

We are very happy with this stand. Love the dark brown and black together. Has a lot of room and the two cabinets with the glass make it look very sleek.

I purchased this unit for my man cave not to put my TV on but for under. Bestbuy took the flat packed unit to my car and I help the guy load it into my SUV, it was heavy, really heavy, When I got home I had to open the box and take it upstairs a part at a time. Building it was so easy, I only needed a screwdriver to put the handles on the doors the rest was done by hand, it took about 45 min to assemble. One tip, leave the top off when you are installing your equipment, it make it much easier to plug in all the cables. Lastly it looks great in place (see pic) Please ignore the cables running down the wall,, next job is to remove them :)

ok so i picked this up at store afraid the glass might break in shipping and i am warning you this box is extremely heavy. the reviews i read said it was easy to put together and i agree i assembled it by myself the only time you need two people is for the glass top. I love this stand very expensive looking and seems very sturdy

Great quality, very easy assembly. Only caution is the box is very heavy and you will need to people to move it. The wood is dark brown. The glass is black and not see through. This is was a great deal!

This TV cabinet was very easy to assemble with great instructions and hardware layout. The main frame folds out for starts and it is very sturdy with all glass shelves and tops. I shopped for tv/home theater cabinets at furniture stores for two weekends and could not find what I was looking for, and they were too expensive. The middle shelves fit my home theater receiver and center channel speaker perfectly. The dimensions are 19.5” W X 8.5” H X 17” Deep. I highly recommend this cabinet for 65” TV’s and home theater systems.

Easy to put together and looks great with my 70 inch tv

I love this stand. It is heavy, meaning solid. My only complaint, which if you read several of the reviews, is that the doors arrived damaged (pictures attached). I have not yet contacted BB but I will soon. I hope that they are able to provide 2 replacement doors; it would be a beast to try to load and return to the store. I have my stand situated below my new 65" LG TV. It has 6 shelves, of which only 3 are presently being used. I mounted my Onkyo AV receiver in the door-less center section. This allows for good ventilation and heat dissipation. If you are in the market for a good looking, solid AV stand, I strongly suggest checking one out next time you are at a Best Buy.

Simplistic but elegant at the same time. Looks and feels sturdy. The only thing I would have changed is the width of the compartments. A long center channel speaker like the Bose VS-10 does not fit on neither of the middle compartments.
