For 1 TV, you only need 4 screws/ washers, and maybe the spacers. But the value in this kit is the convenience- you are covered for any possible mounting scenario. No running to the hardware store 2-3 times to get what you need. In time and gas saved, this kit is worth its price.

You will definitely have what you need to mount your TV. The screws are all metric so you probably don’t have the right size just laying around somewhere. If in doubt, get this set.
