Works great but you need to use a higher output charger to keep the device fully charged or it will slowly discharge while watching longer shows. It also needs to be disconnected from your device when you are done or it will discharge your battery by morning. I haven't had the chance to use a charger that has a greater output to see if this is resolved. Does a great job of converting a USB-C output to an HDMI input for a TV/Monitor even with the power flow issue..

I have now been using it everyday in my classes for more than a year. I am totally satisfied. I was replacing another brand that I had used for less than a year and it failed.

Saved the day at work!

I've had it for 6 months and it's been great! Also fairly compact and easy to travel with.

Affordable solution for multiple monitors

I use it to display on one external monitor from my laptop without an HDMI output, and attach a third monitor to another laptop with only one HDMI output. Much more affordable than a full fledged docking station/hub.

I bought this in a pinch to add an HDMI external display to a laptop that only offered USB-C. Power passthrough worked without any issue testing on two devices, the device was also instantly recognized on both Windows and ChromeOS without any configuration required. The added USB 3.0 port is also very handy when devices are scant on type-A ports. You definitely cannot beat this for the price.

Recently we were camping in a Georgia State Park with no cell service during an extremely rainy day and was able to connect my iPad to the tv with this device. It worked great.
