Good update for older erabuds

I had a pair of Skullcandys that I've used forever and wanted to use with them with my iPhone 17 Pro Max. This cable is perfect for that and now I'm able to listen to my earbuds just like in the old days

Needed to replace my old one and this is already much better. Braided cord and feels sturdier. Plug it in and it's good to go, no muss or fuss.

Surprisingly, using this adapter on my Pixel 9 Pro XL sounds better than using the 3.5mm audio jack on my Motorola Edge Plus (2020). I only wish I could charge my phone at the same time. I bought a Belkin adapter that could do both but it has issues so now I use this one. Definitely a good buy.

Didn't realize their plug is 5+mm, so know I had a converter for 5mm to 3.5mm somewhere. If can't find it, will have to order one of those. Anyway, did test this converter with an old pair of mini-speakers (that had a 3.55 mm) and it worked fine. So, hopefully when I find the second converter (5 to 3.55) I can use my old Sennheisers w/ my new Lenovo laptop sound. Happy w/ the price, delivery speed, and quality of this Best Buy Insignia brand item.

Works Like it Should

It works like it should, and is a recommended peripheral that should come standard with every modern phone, but doesn't. This is the least expensive option available, and it works great.

For some reason Best Buy was the only place locally carrying a 3.5mm to USB-C adapter, and for $9 I don’t have any complaints. Great product for the price

It delivered for the most part but I did notice a few issues since it was not an Apple product. Most of the time Insignia parts work as well as the manufacturers' but I did notice the Apple version of this was much better with overall sound and sound quality

My iPhone and my iPad air have no place to plug those in. So this handy little device solves that problem for me along with anything else that has a USB-C so I’m quite satisfied with this. Sure I’ve got Bluetooth, but I play a lot of live music using these devices and the Bluetooth lag is noticeable.

Best bang for the buck
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Not perfect out of the box but when you find the sweet spot where the volume is not compressed leave it there and don’t move it again. It works like it’s suppose to but keep in mind you are drawing more power from your phone battery. I turned all the way up with very little or no noise at all in the background. Noise as in static in the background while using the dongle.
