Best bang for the buck
Ching684 Posted
Not perfect out of the box but when you find the sweet spot where the volume is not compressed leave it there and don’t move it again. It works like it’s suppose to but keep in mind you are drawing more power from your phone battery. I turned all the way up with very little or no noise at all in the background. Noise as in static in the background while using the dongle.

Works right out of the box with zero setup required. The sound quality is clear with no statics or latency, and it lets me use my favorite wired headphones with my USB-C devices easily. Excellent budget-friendly alternative!

Adapter Cable is Handy!

The Insignia 3" Male USB-C to Female 3.5mm Adapter - White is so handy to have to connect my phone to external speakers for streaming music. It works great and wish I had thought to do it sooner. It saved me from buying new Bluetooth speakers and can still use my older ones that work just fine.

Perfect for mobile devices without headphone jacks
BuzzLightyear Posted
This Insignia adapter is more durable than Apple's version (has extra strain relief at the points where such cables tend to bend and fail). It costs about the same, too, and has been compatible with all Apple and Android devices I've tried it on.

Thanks for the savvy comparison! We’re glad this durable little adapter keeps up with all your devices and outlasts the bend-test. Power to your playlist! |Angelica| Insignia Products|

Went through about 5 different brands of these trying to be cheap. Got this one and it worked with my headphones that have a built in mic. Others did not work so highly recommend these.

Used this on a road trip with my android and another chord. It worked perfectly and the price was fair. I wish it had another function to it, like the chord for the iPhone, so you can charge and play at the same time.

[Employee of bestbuy] It was a nice touch that this is a braided cable, but other than that, there's not much I have to say about it. It works when you plug it in, and that's really all that I would expect from it.
