The night of purchasing the phone i realized there was no base unit to charge, just the cord which to note is a C-Port on both ends. I did not have a base unit thats a C-port. I went to Bestbuy the very next day to let them know it was not in the box. They made me pay for a new one because that "never happens" as if its uncommon for manufacturers of any large company to send electronics missing parts or damaged. I've never shopped anywhere where that wasn't taken care of and the customer was made to feel like it was their fault. Next time I will purchase my phone from the carrier.

It never got water on it or anything but it was my everyday charger, the one I carried in my purse so I guess normal wear and tear is what caused it to go out. I only bought it bcuz the Apple version was sold out anyways
