It is not huge so does not take up much space either.

I searched the big A online and then came across a similiar unit at Best Buy. While there the sales associate showed this unit to me at a lower price and it did the exact same thing. I picked up the adaptor and It works flawlessly and the picture on my monitors look great. I'm glad I found this and at a lower price than the other unit. I've had zero issues with it and recommend picking this up.

Now as I teach my on-line classes I can view everything on 3 monitors: one for the powerpoint from which I am teaching, one for the webinar platform, and one to view the class and make notes and view other files I will need throughout the class.

Extends screen but gets hot

Just be aware that one port is 1080p and the other is 4k. But for my purpose it was ok. The body itself does get hot while you're using the screens. A bit pricey but it does its job!

It works great! Here is the trick...

At first we thought we were one of those cases. We are using this on Windows. It is crazy that you can't download the drivers and have to rely on autoupdate.... but that is what made us think we couldn't use this at first. Turns out that my son had updates turned off and had changed the network connection to a metered connection (both to avoiding any chance that a download could mess up his gaming experience). We sorted all that and updates were flowing again, but you had to dig in to see that it would be many hours for the update and that this update was in the list, just hours down the list. By the end of that night it downloaded, installed and gave us that extra monitor. It works great, incredible picture on our 1080p monitors with no drag on the system and no need to install another video card. Very very happy.

I would have preferred the cord to be slightly longer, but it is not a deal breaker. If buying this, you will need 2 HDMI cords to connect the 2 monitors (which are not sold with this device). Once the monitors are connected, then the settings in the OS needs to be adjusted
