This adaptor works exactly how you expect it to. The USB fits snug to my laptop and the VGA side is just as tight, even without being able to tighten the screws like you would on the monitor. There are drivers avaialble, but this worked perfectly right out of the box. Great quality and value.

Needed this to power up a projector for the youth building at church. Works great for VGA. Don't have any issues with it at all. Use it with ProPresenter 7 for putting the words to songs on the front screen. Couldn't afford to update the projector and run new cable for HDMi or DVI or anything. This was the best and cheapest route. Does what we needed it to do.

I needed to connect my older Sony monitor to be used as a 2nd monitor with my laptop. This Insignia did the trick. The instructions were uber easy to follow and after a few clicks, my additional monitor was up and running. I am a happy gal.

This adapter works great if you have legacy monitors like my company. I received a new Think Pad 490 laptop and it only has HDMI and USB. Fortunately the laptop has USB-2 for one port. I know it is VGA but if you do not want to buy new monitors this is a great $30.00 fix. I tried to buy a HDMI to Display Port cable, it will not work unless you get an externally powered adapter. I would recommend this product.

works perfectly. good to put those old moniters to use. Down the driver from the website and it works exactly as advertised no extra fiddling or anything. only thing I dislike is there are no screw holes for the screws that hold the pug in.

This device may be little in size, but it does a fantastic job of allowing me to use two monitors at work. Easy to set up and use. Follow the directions that come with it and you will be set up in no time at all.

I manage the auditorium at the high school where I work and our projector system runs VGA, which used to come standard on most laptops. Very few laptops do nowadays, and this adapter solved the problem affordably. It's plug and play and works with every Windows laptop I have hooked it to. Apple MacBooks are hit and miss - some work, most don't seem to, and I don't know enough about MacOS to fiddle with settings to see if I can make it work.

This was a great purchase that helped me use an older monitor with my newer laptop. It was easy to use and a great value for what it provided.
