The VCR heads were so dirty my previous cleaner couldn't clear it up so bought this from best buy, ran it twice and it cleared it up, the VCR heads are clean again! Glad they carry this!

My intent was to purchase the fluid because I already have the tape cleaner, these were the last two that they had in the store and they had to go to the store room to find those!? There are not too many people that have in their possession, a video cassette player, if you do have one, you need this product!?

I purchased a vcr on ebay that was "for parts" and mechanically, everything worked but the vhs looked awful. As if it was dirty inside. Picked up this vcr cleaner and bam! Everything looked great on it.

Defective bottle of cleaning liquid. Tried snipping off the top all the way down to the base, but couldn’t get a drop out. I’m not going to bother to return it because it’s not worth the trouble for the amount spent, but the bottle should be redesigned.

This is a very hard product to find. It is an okay cleaner, after you use it 3 to 5 times.

So the head cleaner is pretty good and took care of the problem that I was having with our VCR Player. You may have to use 2 to 3 extra drops of the solvent to help thoroughly clean the heads. Cleaners are hard to find especially for older tech. I'm glad Best Buy still carries this stuff and was readily available. I didn't have to wait to get it shipped. Price was very good as well.

My VCR exhibited poor video on playback & needed the heads cleaned as I hadn't cleaned them in 10 years. Purchased this product & cleaned the heads once & all was good again. VCR was performing like new.

I searched a lot of different website for a Wet/Dry VCR Head Cleaner and after reading all the negative reviews from the different site I looked at, I decided to see what Best Buy had to offer. This Head cleaner had a good rating and since using it on all three of my DVD/VCR combination players, and my Toshiba VCR player only, the picture quality greatly improved on all 4 players! My Toshiba and two of three combination players have 4 heads and the best picture of all, showed up on my Toshiba. Allsop had the best VCR head cleaners at one time, but since they are not in the game anymore I would recommend this cleaner second to none, because Insignia claims their cleaning system is not abrasive which will not ruin the video heads.Since cleaning my picture on the screen had greatly improved. My biggest problem is the VCR tapes themselves, many are not good anymore, and I'm replacing some of them with DVD's that are still available.

This VCR video head cleaner was not readily available in many stores. but it was a stock item at Best Buy and sold at a quite reasonable price. So far, we have found it to be useful and to work as advertised. We have used it on two different items to this point and in both cases it helped clear up the problem.

Gets the Job done on the VHS for cleaning so you can watch all those treasured movies of the past. Very easy to use and the quality of picture after is amazing. The VHS will even play quieter after the cleaning!

I'm so glad I was able to find a VCR cleaner. I was worried my VCR finally bit the dust, but I figured in a last ditch effort to get a VCR cleaner. This particular one was so easy to use and completely cleaned out decades of gunk in one go.

I have a VCR/DVD recorder combo unit that has been in heavy use lately, as I have been converting several VHS tapes to DVD and this head cleaner is just what I needed to keep the tape heads clean. It’s effective and inexpensive. Does a nice job!

We have many DVDs and blue rays, but also have a large VHS collection. I also have two stereo VHS players hooked up to a 400 watt Sony receiver into Bose. Speakers and it Rocks. Every so often you have to clean the heads and this does a great job, very quick .

Quick and easy to use. Does a great job. I have been burning a lot of those old 80’s and 90’s VHS tapes and this product has kept the heads really clean.

Works but you may find out that the issue is with your old VCR not the cleaning tape. Bought it to convert VHS to MKV but before I could do the conversion with other adapters and software I needed to clean the VHS heads. My old VHS had issues. I almost returned this till I borrowed two other VHS players and this cleaning tape worked. Note: Best to have the remote to the VHS player for tracking but lets be seriously most of us have lost the remote.

I have an old VCR which I am trying to convert tapes. It needed cleaning and this was perfect. It was easy to use and cleaned the tape heads quite wll.

Finally got around to making digital conversions of old VHS tapes to digital copies. Running 30 year old tapes thru the vcr got the heads terribly dirty. this cleaner fixed me right up and i was able to finally finish all my converting. So glad bestbuy actually carried this in store in this day and age!

Easy enough to use. Cleaned VCR heads for clearer images. Funny thing is when I asked for this in the store and the surprise of the staff when they actually had what is considered a relic.

I have 3 old VCRs and have not been cleaned in years. I saw this head cleaner and looks like the old cleaner tape I used to have. Uses 4 drops of included liquid and takes 20 seconds to run and then simply rewind and eject. Made an improvement in picture and sound tracking. Did as was advertised and is a good product. I was surprised this was still being made, so am happy I bought.
