Excellent item! I can charge both my dash cam and gps from a single 12V socket using this adapter.

It is really useful where you need to connect two electronic gadgets to connect with a cigarette lighter port.

It is a unnexpesive vehicle power adapter but works very good and safe.

I needed to power both a dash cam and a fast charger for my cell phone but only have a single cigarette lighter 12 volt adaptor. My fast charger has 2 usb ports but was adaptive so trying to power the dash cam using usb wouldnt work because the charger would think it was fully charged and shut off. Using this splitter charges the phone and powers the dash cam without any interruption and was a much better option than trying a new fast cell charger that wasnt adaptive or buying an expensive charger with a usb plug from the dash cam company. Only issue was the first one I received was open box despite being presented as new and one side didnt work so returned it and the second one worked perfectly.

This is a great way to double up and power the components that you need in your car if your GPS needs to be plugged in but also your cell phone and you got a traditional cigarette lighter I'll power then you got some working for you to split that power basic and simple in works and it's very affordable at approximately $15. Found it on sale a few months back and it's been working great I use it for my video camera dash camera and or to charge my cell phone and my GPS I'm going to get another one probably this weekend.

This Insignia Vehicle Power Adapter Splitter allows me to plug in two devices at the same time. It is the right size. The device is adjustable, and it is perfect to utilize while on a road trip. This device is built well, and it works well. I needed this device for a GPS Navigating system and for a Sirius XM Portable Radio also.

I have a very small console (Jeep Renegade) and it knew the length of this adapter would be an issue up front. But I have an outlet in the (way) back so I use it back there and it works great for charging tablets /kindles when we are on trips and space is a premium.

I have had several kinds of dual adapters before but they have always seemed to be very hot when being used by 2 devices. This one has not been. The only problem I have is its size. The flexibility of the device is a good thing to have.

My husband uses this in his 18 Wheeler which allows him to hook up his phone for charging and his GPS. There is only one lighter in the front and one in the sleeper. This allows him to keep his phone charged while running his GPS instead of leaving the phone in the back to charge.

This was the exact charger that I purchased before from Best Buy before. It lasted a long time and provided excellent service in multiple vehicles. At some reason for no apparent reason, it overheated. (The plastic nut that secures the pin that contacts the car socket.) The charger power indicator light is on the opposite side of the charger when you flip it up. A lil odd in my opinion, when you grow accustomed to seeing a light on devices when plugged. It looks and feel well built. Decent price. Less than $20.

Works perfectly for it's purpose. We needed to plug in a rearview camera, and still be able to charge our phones. Works great!

The performance of this adapter splitter is exactly what I was seeking. However, need to be certain it will fit in the lighter space in your vehicle. Even when I have this tilted, it still interferes with the gear shift selector when in the park position. I have learned to work around this, by inserting this into the lighter outlet in the car after putting it into gear. Otherwise, great product.

We have been doing more hiking/biking/ going to the lake lately and often will camp at a base site and spend a day or two in a location. This has made it possible to charge batteries for cameras/GPS devices and run an inverter for larger power hungry devices. Simple yet effective.
