It's a nice size unit that can complement your night stand or place next to your bedroom for use with Google for controlling your home or setting up the alarm. Sound volume and quality is decent as well, much better than the Google Mini.

I have several Google devices. This is literally a Google home with an alarm clock attached. I got it on sale for $25 and a regular Google Home mini usually doesn't get to that price. Sufficient sound for the size. Works will lights, Chromecast, TVs. In general what I expected. Looks good too.

Bought this on a great sale making it almost as cheap at a Google mini. I believe this speaker dogs better than the mini and it also has a clock and local weather displayed. Works well and convenient.

I bought this speaker during a flash sale, wasn't really sure what to expect. It's been a really great investment. It's small but loud, and super easy to use. I use it every day, sometimes to listen to music other times as a noise machine for sleeping or reading. Best investment of my life!

I thought that the clock was larger than reality, but it's not too overbearing on my nightstand. It sounds fine for listening to music before I sleep. The Google Assistant is really useful, and works well with my other Google Mini devices.

I purchased the large on and the slight smaller one. Took a while to get it connect to my network. You have to use Google Home to set up which I did not find it straightforward, nor easy to Navigate. I bought these to boost the sound of my Echo Dots. I sometimes get frequent disconnects and the resolution is to unplug both the Dot and the speaker, and then replug them in again. That usually corrects the issue. In terms of loudness, these speakers can get pretty loud. Loud enough for my Dots not to recognize what I am saying. I have hearing issues, but even for me, turning them up full blast is too loud for me. Granted, these aren't Bose, nor any top of the line Bluetooth speakers that you can spend $100's or $1,000. However, for the price, you can't beat these speakers because Google Assist is already built in. That covers me for Google and Alexa smart home devices. I actually need to make it back to best buy to do some price matching. I will get $30 coming back to me because of the lowered price of the speakers since I originally bought them.

I got 2 of these on sale for $25, I was a little skeptical on how good they would be but I have to say these speakers are fantastic. For a small speaker they have great sound and the Google Assistant works great, added bonus is the digital clock on the front....I highly recommend this speaker!

This is a great alternative to the Google Home Mini, especially for a nightstand or anywhere you would make use of the clock display. Sound is better than the Home Mini but not quite as good as the Home or larger Insignia (especially bass).

I have 2 other standard google homes and they are great. But the more expansive sound and the digital display for time and some other info is a great addition. And the price is the final piece to this being an amazing deal. I bought mine for less than an additional google home would ha e cost.

I bought this because I needed a new alarm clock for my nightstand. I didn’t necessarily want the Google Assistant feature but I really like having it now. The speaker sounds great when playing music and it was an excellent price. I liked it so much I bought a second one for my home.

I own google home, mini and this one. This looks nicer compare to other two. Clock on this unit is big plus compare to regular google home. Insignia should work more with Google to make this better. Firmware on this is little behind compare to original google home. I live in Phoenix and there is an issue with clock. This is what I did to fix the clock issue and I hope it helps if you live in Phoenix. 1. Go to your phone date time settings. Turn off auto in time zone. Use 12 hour time format. Verify your phone shows right time. Change time zone to Denver (this should not change time). 2. Reset insignia by pressing & holding mute button for 12 seconds. 3. Continue the setup as per documentation 4. After setup completes; clock on insignia should show correct time. 5. Update your phone timezone back to Phoenix.

Picked up a few of these when they were on sale for $25 (which happens often). I have a Google Home and a Google Mini. From it's construction, you'd guess that the Insignia unit is made by the same manufacturer. The build is very similar - size, mesh, etc. What sets the Insignia unit apart from my Google Home is that it has a clock, illuminated controls on top and a USB port for charging your phone etc. The sound on my Google Home is better, but not substantially. Also I believe the Insignia unit is running an older firmware and probably won't be first in line for updates. For instance, my Google Home has continued conversation but the Insignia unit does not because of older firmware. If you find one of these on sale ($25) it's $100 less than a Google Home which makes it a no brainer.

has google assistant built in and is only limited in what it can do by that software. Cannot get over the air AM or FM, but has good sound. Solid construction. not clear how any different other than looks from Google products....

I currently have two of these and I'm planning on getting a third. The main reason I got these was to help spread music throughout my house. For example, before I would try to use my very powerful stereo to hear music throughout the house. Not the best way to do things, because when it was loud enough to hear it at the corners of the house, it was way too loud in the middle of the house. With these speakers you can spread the music more evenly without the house, and even at different volumes. I have one in our master bathroom set to volume 25% while at the same time the one in the living room is set to 50% volume. Also, each one can play something different at the same time. I'm basically using them as a much cheaper version of SONOS. I really like how they display the time, unlike other smart assistant devices out there. With all that said, I would not pay full price for this device. I bought them on a great sale and saved over 50%. Well worth it at that price.

This was my entry into any voice automated product and I am very surprised at the ease of setup and overall sound quality. A little disappointed I can’t make calls from it like a google home product but it literally surpasses all other expectations. For the price I couldn’t beat it.

The is a great integration of Google assistant into a product that is actually useful. It's a perfect alarm clock and smart speaker setup at bed side. It would have been better if it supports displaying time in 24-hr format.

Purchased this at a great price and for the price, it offers many useful capabilities like alarm clock, bluetooth speaker, and google assistant. The speaker sounds pretty good, but not as good as a standalone bluetooth speaker like a JBL Charge 3 or UE Wonderboom 2. But it is fun to command google assistant to play a song from Spotify. It's convenient to have the google assistant and great that it has a clock display which gives it an edge over the regular google home. I dont like that the clock does need to be connected to wifi at all times in order to display the time and the internet does cut off every now and then. I had to set it all up maybe twice already because it would reset after losing internet. Overall, it's an awesome product.

bought these on sale (a small one for an alarm clock and a large one for the garage). So far I really like using the Google assistant and the speaker is not bad for what I paid (really cheap on sale). The clock is really basic.

Nice compact improvement on Google home platform. An alarm clock radio with Google Assistant and Internet music streaming capability. Good, not great sound for "normal or background" volume levels. Clock and temp displays are welcome.

Works really well with all of the current Google Assistant tasks, commands and vocie prompts. Very small and compact. The display could be helped by an option to turn down the brightness, however. Great, inexpensive product overall.
