Thought it was perfect for this but... Brought the first one home which would not power on. Called Insignia support who recommended an exchange after troubleshooting. Ordered an exchange as suggested. Picked up the replacement speaker which also would not power on. Engaged Insignia support who again assisted with troubleshooting. Again an exchange is recommended by insignia but they are out of stock now! Help!!!

My girl asked if I could do a show for her family including a special song for her Dad. He has ALS. I said sure but the microcube has terrible bass sounds. I only have an MPC with me so any backing track I make will be too bassy for it. We head to best buy and I thought, I could come out of the headphone port on my looper right into the AUX. let's buy it and try it out. Back at the hotel room I was amazed. Great full range including bass, and more than loud enough. Keep in mind I am doing live vocal and running my trumpet through it with effects. It was amazing. The sound was good enough to play a small wine bar. I could not have pulled this off with an UE Ultraboom, BOSE, or JBL unit. They are not big enough to move enough air This unit is half the price of these other guys with twice the power. Best purchase I have ever made at Best Buy.

The vocals are excellent and as if that wasn't enough the bass is incredible!! Pandora playing through my phone to this speaker sounds great! Also when someone calls my phone they can hear me perfectly through the built in microphone on this speaker!! OMG this thing surpasses all expectations I had I just wanted a speaker to listen to music in my tractor, instead I got a excellent speaker with great sound and Bluetooth calling, and on top of all of that the dam thing will also charge a phone or small portable music player! This thing is awesome! And since it's bestbuy brand for one year if it stops working I can take it back to any bestbuy and get another one to replace it!!! That being said I'm gonna go add the paid two year warranty tomorrow because this thing is such a value it's worth paying the xtra 19.99 for the geek squad protection warranty!!

I saw this one in the box still and thought I bet this one could be worth it too. I liked it because there are no knobs to fall off so it can be tossed in my car for a camping trip but I can also take it to my aerobic classes to play some tunes while I teach. It has a great battery life, it can charge my phone, its water resistant which helps as I do go swimming a lot. It is a little bass heavy but that actually helps when I'm in the studio or indoor pool area teaching classes. I feel like I paid for the product and functionality instead of paying for a big brand name.
