This speaker is one of the best out there if not the best. Powerful bass, waterproof, it can even charge a phone and all of these for an excellent price, way cheaper than others premium brands and with a better sound.

Wow, I can't believe this is on clearance! It was only $30.00! The sound is awesome, beautiful room filling sound with deep bass if desired. Long battery life is a plus too and it is waterproof as well.
Bought this item as a deal of the day on impulse. We have a house full of Bluetooth speakers from cheap to unreasonable. I’m always impressed with the value of the more budget conscious units and this one is no exception. We use it in the garage, and when we’re out washing the car ( since it’s water proof it moved to the front of that line). It’s got plenty of volume and a fair amount of bass for its size. We’ve never tossed it into the pool yet, to see it it floats as advertised... and that sure seems risky. But it is just another Insignia product that has exceeded expectations. Years ago I avoided the “house” brand because it was generally disappointing quality-wise , not anymore.

Device is hot, connected without any problems. I bought two of them to get stereo effect and it's easy connecting to each other. It's definitely waterproof, I dipped one in the pool to test and it's still working. loud enough to cover whole pool area. Batteries good enough for at least 6 hours, I haven't try longer than 6. I like the handle because it makes it easier to carry and usb charging port for my cell phone when we're going to mountains for picnic. It doesn't sound as great as my Boss speaker but it has some great features and almost four times cheaper.

Bought this $40 Deal of the Day Insignia speaker for the optical lab at work. My other smaller speaker wasn't enough to overcome the noisy optical edger, which sounds like a loud vacuum cleaner. This speaker has impressive bass and plenty of power to hear in a noisy environment. It connects via Bluetooth in a few seconds without fail every time, and battery life is excellent. The only small negative is that it's a bit bass heavy for some songs/genres, and lacks bass without the boost. The sound could be better balanced, so you may want to use an equalizer to help compensate, or try placing the speaker on different surfaces, which can affect the tone performance. Otherwise it's a five star speaker. Highly recommended!

The speaker is easy to link. It gets loud without sounding bad and the base is good! I like that if it is charged it can be used as a battery for my phone.

First, I got this very discounted and it was nearly free after using reward points. PROS: Very portable (loaf of bread sized), great battery life, water resistant, USB port to charge other devices, AUX PORT!, bass boost that actually does something. CONS: Bluetooth range is just okay. spoken words (podcasts) don't sound quite as good as music (slight muffle), I don't think it allows speaker tethering. Overall, for the price, this is a really solid buy. Sound only comes from the front, but if you position it right this is a great choice for small-medium locations, for home use and events.

Got this as a Deal of the Day and took this home with me overseas during the holidays, Awesome bass and sound. So portable and lightweight that it can go with you wherever. Easy BT connectivity. Long-lasting battery life plus sturdily-built. Took this by the poolside and you won't have to be worried. Wish I had bought more as everybody wanted one. I ended up returning home without this.

Love all the features of this speaker for the price. Super long battery life, waterproof, floats in water, and good bass. However, the sound quality is just Ok. I compared this next to a jbl xtreme. The xtreme sounds so much better. The jbl sounds just a lot cleaner. The insignia sounds almost muffled. Sure it gets loud and has good, deep bass. But the quality is sort of muffled. Would I recommend it? Well for the features and price, yes I recommend it for like outdoor parties or just hanging out. But if you care a lot about the quality of your audio, I would definitely say no.

I've had this bluetooth radio for 6+ months now and it's still awesome. Sound is fantastic, bass sounds really good and I love that it charges my phone while listening at the same time. This speaker lasts for several hours when not charging a phone. I use it for work and it has paint splatter on it and it's still works perfect. I highly recommend!

This speaker works amazing and I still use it until this day. It never been damaged and you can take it everywhere with you. And it’s waterproof so it’s good enough to take it to the beach and to the pool. The sound is very loud and super clear. The battery last for a long time about 8 hours. I highly recommend to get this speaker.

Sounds decent, not exactly HiFi, but really love: a) super long battery life — seems to go all day b) the built in USB charger can even power a gen 1 and gen 2 Echo Dot! c) can be turned up loud for outdoor use d) the waterproof claim (though I’ve not our that to the test). Bluetooth pairing was pretty easy. Controls work. Does what it claimed.

This speaker is awesome to use around the pool since water proof. This gets used all the time by kids and adults during the summer next to our pool. Plenty loud, sounds great, and battery life is awesome. End cap can be tough getting of to charge, had to gently use pliers. Not sure why they discontinued.

I am impressed with the sound quality from these speakers. They do an excellent job handling bass, even at loud volumes and at the same time clearly reproduce high frequencies. So far the battery life has been impressive, as I am getting more than 20 hours of use between charges. Overall I am very pleased with this product.

First, this was $100 retail I believe. I got it for $30 on sale at Best Buy. I don't know if it really floats and I don't know how Waterproof it really is. Sound? It sounds decent out of the box. Bass is deep, and even deeper with bass boost turned on. The treble is very poor though. HOWEVER.... check your music player. If you have an equalizer (EQ), adjust it and this speaker will SING! It definitely can produce the high notes, but I think it's setup to be bass heavy, so you have to make your own adjustments if you want a more balanced sound. One cool thing is the USB output that can charge your phone (it comes with a micro USB, but not USBC or iPhone cable). It's pretty big and kinda heavy. Definitely not going in your backpack without adding some weight and taking up alot of space. Also, the charger for this has a small power brick in the middle of it. It's not a USB charger cable, it's a real charger plug like laptops used to have (the barrel style), so be prepared to carry this extra charger for when it dies - you can't use your phone charger like many other portable batteries. Battery life, dunno. Moral of the story - for $100, it's pretty good but has caveats...you can probably find other speakers as good or better for that price. For $30, I don't think you'll come anywhere close to this for its sound, waterproofing, floating ability, charger port, deep bass, etc. Plus, Best Buy is pretty good at taking back Insignia products if they malfunction, something other brands can't always claim. I recommend it for the right price.

Purchased two of these for my two son's for graduation. They use them everywhere, and each charge lasts like 17 hours! I wanted a speaker that would be safe around water because each of my boys likes to shower with loud music, while the enclosed bathroom collects heavy steam. Recently, we took it boating with about 25 people and it was super loud in the wide open air plus we didn't have to worry about it falling into the lake. Everyone was super impressed with its performance. I won't give it a rating regarding answering the phone, because my kids like all kids these days do not answer their phone! They do text only and the signal it gives is sufficient for them to check their messages. Anyway, who wants to stop the music to hear a phone call in 10 decibels? LOL Not me. I think this speaker is perfect.

Paired well with Amazon Dot on my back deck. Now I can take my streaming music to the pool without worry about getting the speakers wet or dealing with cords near the water. Good volume and bass, but wish Bluetooth range were a bit farther. It cuts out if I move speakers to far from Dot.

I got this speaker while on sale and so far I love everything about except the fact that it does not have a forward or back button. You only have a power, play/pause, and volume controls. This means you have to keep your media player (phone for me) around at all times. Other than that the sound is really loud, clear and delivers good bass. The handle makes it easy to move around and setup was a breeze. I would recommend this device to anyone looking for a good speaker without breaking the bank.

One of the coolest purchases I've made at a clearance price! Works great, it's allowed to get wet without damage, pretty loud if needed, great bass-booster, Bluetooth, and can charge your phone! Get it if you still can (on sale)!

Speaker works well and was easy to set up. Sound is pretty good and a decent amount of volume. Only complaint is that the side cover to get to the charging port is very difficult to open. I assume this is by design to keep it waterproof, but you should be aware.
