The headset over the ear style is as about as basic as they come, but get the job done, if you don't feel the need to spend 100's of dollars on some overrated fancy dancy head set to make yourself feel cool while you video game to support your ego, but just want something that just gets the job done in the way of headset and communication over the online gaming world then this is the one for you. Does exactly what I want so couldn't ask for anything better.

I purchased this headset for my husband after our puppy ate the original headset that came with the xbox 360 console. My husband requested that I pick up "the cheapest headset you can find"- and this was it. 13 bucks and I have to say, it's not so bad. we can still talk with our friends when we play COD. Things we don't like- the headset connector that goes into the remote comes out easily and the boom mic is on the left side of your face and you can't switch this. But it does the trick.

You get more than you pay for with this headset. Sound is solid; mic picks up voices clearly. Plus, it has held up better than the last $75 headset I had. I would challenge anyone to find a better deal than this out there. At $15 each, I could buy five headsets and spend the same amount as I did on the latest designer set.

Need a functional and inexpensive headset for your 360? Here it is. One star deducted for comfort, however. It feels like it's meant for bigger heads than mine, but after 15 minutes I barely notice that I'm wearing it. I will also note that, at it's highest volume, the output isn't very high.

My son needed a headset for his XBox 360 but I didn't want to spend a lot since he's prone to breaking things. This was an inexpensive option that works great for what he needs it for.

The headphones work well, no frills whatsoever, which is exactly what I wanted. However, I did need to purchase some adapters to work with the newer model of xbox one s controller and the headset can only be worn with speaker on the left side if you want the mic boom down since it only rotates down in one direction opposed to many other sets that rotate in any direction. I prefer to wear on the right, but with these I have to wear on the left. I got these very cheap as open-box and I'm quite happy with them but I definitely prefer the stock mic that comes with the xbox.

My daughter loves these headphones. She uses them for her xbox live on her 360 and the mute button always comes in handy its a great buy for the price and for a beginner especially. but now she wants even bigger and better ones. the surround headphones. so even though they sound ok for the price remember theyre made more for beginner or as temps.

My old, original Xbox 360 finally died and I needed a replacement. But, since I also just purchased an XOne, I didn't want to shell out a big amount of money since the headsets are not compatible between the controllers. This headset is a good, cheap replacement. The earpiece volume is very good, and the microphone is very sturdy and nicely placed. The only downsides are the connector plug and the volume/mute control. The connector plug has a big tendency to fall out, and any slight pull on the cord will definitely yank it out. Also, the volume control box is in the middle of the cord, not on the base. This puts it in an odd place, but something that one just has to get used to.

This is a decent headset for the price. My son seems to go through headsets very quickly so we didn't want to spend a lot of money. But we also needed something that worked. So this fit the bill.

My son is hard on Gaming Headsets, this one doesn't have the quality of the more expensive ones but is effective and affordable.

Not the greatest headset. It gets the job done but it can get uncomfortable if you're playing for a long time. Also the connection to the controller is a bit touchy.

Really good and great price. My husband and son use these to play games with each other online. The sound is really loud and just hooks right up to the xbox controller.

Not the best out there but unless you are a serious gamer in need of professional sound, then these inexpensive headsets work perfect. Plus, you can hear what is going on around you and still hear the chat.

This is your basic headset. For the price, it cant be beat. Be careful not to break it as it is not durable.
