Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this headset for my 14 year old son to use for his Playstation 4 - he reported back that the headset is super comfortable (and way bigger than he expected) and the audio is much clearer than his old headset (as reported from his friends.) He also really liked that he could mute by simply rotating up the microphone and you can flip the microphone all the way to the other side to wear it on your other ear - both features he and I didn't even know this headset had. In summary, I would have never expected this headset to be of such high quality for $14.99. And we can use it for our new Playstation 5 when we get one this holiday. Highly recommend.

But, turned out to be great! Lightweight, comfortable and Great mic. Others can hear you clearly and you can hear them well. Recommended

A cheap upgrade for my PS4 headset

I don't need it often, so I wasn't willing to spend for one of the really good wireless ones. But thankfully Insignia has this wired single over the ear headset. Has a maneuverable microphone that can be rotated back to mute, and a physical volume wheel on the speaker itself. Between the two, I can hear my teammates much more clearly, especially in a fire fight. The wired nature doesn't bother me, especially for the price. A good cheap upgrade or replacement for the PS4 box-in headset/microphone.

Teammates say I come through clear when speaking. The head band is easily adjustable and doesn't pinch or feel like too much pressure so it's easy to wear for a few hours. Some may probably like more foam cushion on the ear piece but generally is sufficient. I think I would prefer a physical mute button instead of flipping the mic up to mute. It's a neat concept but a bit more clunky and slower than simply clicking a switch on the connecting wire.

Mic quality is good, speaker is just fine for voice, and it's large enough for my bigger sized head. Soft ear cushion and nice soft rubber brace on the other size. Using with my PS4 now but will surely use it with the PS5.
