This tripod works but we didn’t use it on our snowboarding trip because it was wobbly. Not sure why but it seemed too sketchy to use it and possibly lose the insta360. Sad we never got insta360 videos on our trip

I think I have bought 3 or 4 of these so far. Not because they haven't held up but because it is really that great of a product and is well priced. As a filmmaker is something I have in both of my professional and personal kits and one I gift often to other 360 capture friends. The monopod/selfie stick combo is super handy (no pun intended) and versatile for whatever I'm capturing. And the the monopod itself is really sturdy, especially when compared to the cheaper amazon option. Smooth collapse and expansion and the built-in feet make for a super slick design without the hassle of carrying extra gear along. It's so light weight you might as well have extras in your kit. Highly recommend.

Very versatile selfie stick. Most people will use the tripod feature only with the stick shortened on like a desk or table. However, as long as you are not in windy conditions, you can actually use the tripod with the stick at full length. Makes it very useful as a 360 room camera for realty purposes. Stick seems to be very well made. Has a good bit of heft to it.

Some reviews state concerns about the stiffness...but for the price and length, the stick is perfectly stiff. It is easy to screw in, and the tripod feet pop out / fold in effortlessly. I have stuck my Insta360 X5 camera out of a moving car and it did not fall off, so that is a plus!

In my opinion this is a must have for any action camera purchase. I even adapted this to use with my phone. Folds down so tiny but you can still have a nice size tripod and/or selfie stick.

For my spring trip to Banff National Park in Canada, I knew I wanted to film this trip unlike prior trips. And i was planning on snowboarding a few days of the trip. This camera was perfect for what I needed. The post editing can be kinda tedious but its so cool to watch back footage and be able to scan around to see what was going on around me. I can uniquely show my friends 360 views of the Canadian rockies when i look back on this footage. The only thing id prefer is interchangable lenses like the X5. But alas i needed this before my trip and the X5 didnt release until after. Honestly this camera is really cool and i can relive my memories with ease in the insta360 app. Transferring files is a breeze and i love the simple layout of the camera itself. Id say if youre on the fence on whether or not this camera is worth the $$, id say go for it. But pay a little extra for the X5… having to put lens covers on can be a pain and theyre hard to get off if you get dust or snow in between the cover and the actual lens. And if you send it a little too hard on the slopes or whatever youre doing and you break the actual lens… youre out a hefty amount of $$ or paying a stupid amount to have it replaced/repaired.
