Sometimes I get buyers remorse after purchasing larger ticket items such as this. But I have been loving this camera! Not having to cram a shot before recording is the biggest advantage of this camera, I use it to record my runs and vlog, as well as some cool angels for self photography; so I haven’t used it to its full capabilities yet. Also the low light is awesome on this camera. 100% do not regret picking this up and I’m glad I got the latest model.definitely recommend getting one if you’re on the fence. I only gave it a 4 star for Ease of use because there is a slight learning curve with editing 360 degree footage.

As an avid content creator, I was thrilled to get my hands on the Insta360 X5, especially for my recent outing to EPIC Universe. The camera truly excels in capturing stunning photos and videos with remarkable detail and vibrant colors that seem ahead of their time. The ability to connect it to my wheelchair using extension clips and sticks while being able to preview everything in 360 degrees on my phone is a game-changer. The visual quality, particularly in 8K, is nothing short of spectacular, showcasing the potential of advanced imaging technology. The battery life holds up pretty long as well if not exposed to the heat long. Inside I left it on record for over 4 hours before the battery started blinking, but outside in the Florida heat, the battery got too hot and it shut down after about two hours. However, my enthusiasm was dampened by several significant drawbacks. The process of converting files, navigating the cloud system, and ensuring WiFi connectivity has proven to be quite cumbersome. Furthermore, the limited editing capabilities and challenges in sharing content on platforms like YouTube and social media have made the experience frustrating. In comparison, I found that my Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra produced equally impressive visuals with far more user-friendly editing and uploading options. It’s disheartening to feel that such a state-of-the-art device struggles with essential tasks that should enhance the overall experience. Ultimately, while the Insta360 X5 has extraordinary potential, it currently falls short in delivering a seamless user experience. Until Insta360 addresses the shortcomings of its cloud system, enhances the editing capabilities, improves conversion processes, and simplifies the uploading procedures to ensure compatibility with YouTube and other prominent social media platforms, I am unable to recommend the Insta360 product. The current limitations hinder the overall user experience and functionality, which are critical for individuals seeking to effectively share their content online. It is essential for the company to prioritize these improvements to meet the evolving needs of its users and remain competitive in the market.

This is Insta’s best camera yet! I love the low light shooting on this camera. The initial learning curve was fairly simple to grasp and still has a lot of features. Editing the footage in the phone app is simple too. Best thing about this 360 camera is that you don’t have to point to the subject. It always has whatever your shooting in frame.

Personlly i use it for daily vlogging and motorcycle. Stabalization and battey life is on point as always. I do love the interchangeable lenses and the upgraded sensor. It used to cost me over 100 bucks to get a single lens repaired by Insta360, but rn it only costs $30 and i guess i can finish it at home within 10min!!

The product is of good quality and there is no problem. If you are going to use it only as a camera and have only 1 camera, do not forget to buy a microphone. There are special microphones for Insta 360. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Since I switched to the Insta360 X5, my riding footage has taken a massive leap forward. Mounted to the handlebar of my bike, the 8K resolution and the larger 1/1.28″ sensor deliver crystal-sharp details—even when the sun dips low and shadows stretch across the pavement. Reviewers have praised the X5 for its “sharper in low light” performance and “most refined 360-degree camera yet” status.

Despite it being a camera with highlight of bright night video, I never had the chance to get it out at night. But day time, I do. For Day time, quality is great when you have good light, but when under special areas where light can not auto balance it self, it will look like this. There are times where the 360 at certain times, just will not auto align it self, even with the app and software, making the footage unusable and footage look like in the wrong direction in every way. The built in wind filter helped a lot when i ride, and the lens replacement feature finally became worry free without the additional lens glare from adding a lens protector. My unit came in brand new condition, no defects, nor any broken parts out of the box.

I had the x3 and was using it for motorcycle content, the x5 was a great upgrade. 100% worth it, the quality is so much better and very clear. It’s also nice knowing if the lens ever gets scratched or cracked, I can buy replacement lens instead of a whole new camera.

Absolutely love my new Insta OneX5! I am no stranger to Insta 360’s (had the 2 and the 4) and this new one delivers a punch with low light recording capabilities and interchangeable lenses in case you have to replace them if they break or scratch. My shopping experience at Best Buy was also enjoyable. My order was processed super quick and I was able to have my camera in less than an hour after ordering.

Great camera for motovlogging, love the range of settings and configurations you can adjust for the type of filming your doing. Plays the app makes really easy to do quick edits of you can’t decide on a style.
