Best pictures and videos ever! No need to point, focus, wait for the right moment, etc. just press the button and hold it in any direction when you see something to capture and voila! Everything‘s in frame, in focus, crisp, clear and waiting for you to share. Paris and Madrid came home in perfection.

The X5 with battery installed weighs 0.5 lbs. This makes it easy to use no matter where you are. The picture quality is fantastic and the editing features of the Insta360 app are very intuitive to ensure your pictures and video look professional.

This is not the camera you want if you’re primarily filming water sports at the beach. The lenses guard and the dive case scratch so easily. Stitching is horrific and the videos come out really bad. This is the most disappointing purchase of me this year. I am beyond disappointed with this camera in the dive case. I will never purchase another Insta product again based on this horrible experience. I wish there were some way to get a refund.

I love insta360 X5 and I have been eyeing this camera for months now until I finally decided to check out. I am loving it. Everything needs time for learning from recording and editing techniques. They packaged it very safely and I got it sealed proof that they deliver quality products. No issues so far aside from heating up which I think is normal for high quality videos.

I’ve used several 360 cameras over the years, but the Insta360 X5 blows them all out of the water. The image quality is insanely sharp, and the stabilization feels like magic — seriously, it’s like having a gimbal built in. The new sensor handles low light way better than previous models, and the dynamic range is just chef’s kiss. The editing tools in the app are intuitive and powerful. The AI tracking and reframing features make it ridiculously easy to get creative shots that would be impossible with a traditional camera. And I love how easy it is to export to reels or YouTube. Whether you’re shooting action sports, travel vlogs, or behind-the-scenes content, this camera just delivers. If you’re even thinking about creating 360 or reframed content — stop thinking and get this camera. It’s worth every penny.

Love this camera. The editing tools are easy to understand. The AI editing does a great job too! They have plenty of tutorials to help you out if you get lost and overwhelmed. My only complaint is that I cannot name the camera. We bought 2 and it gets a bit confusing when trying to connect to the camera I want. Hopefully they can fix this in a future update.

I’ve been very impressed with the Insta360 X5 and how well it performs in real-world use. The 360° capture completely changes how you shoot because you don’t have to worry about framing in the moment. I can mount it, hit record, and focus on what I’m doing, knowing I can reframe everything later without missing the shot. Video quality is sharp with good detail and natural colors, and it handles changing lighting conditions better than I expected. FlowState stabilization is excellent and produces smooth footage even when walking, driving, or filming handheld, without needing a gimbal. This makes it especially useful for travel, outdoor activities, or vehicle-mounted shots. Low-light performance is solid for an action camera, with reasonable noise control and usable clarity. The touchscreen is responsive, menus are straightforward, and the camera feels well built and durable. It has the feel of a premium product designed for regular use, not something fragile. The mobile app is one of the strongest parts of the experience. Reframing, keyframing, horizon leveling, and exporting are all easy to do and don’t require a desktop setup. The editing workflow is efficient and gives you a lot of flexibility without being overly complicated. Audio quality is also better than expected for a compact camera, especially outdoors.

Absolutely blown away by how incredible the Insta360 X5 performs! I was personally looking for an action camera that offered superior image and video quality, good value for money, compact, and, most importantly, versatility — all of which this camera delivers. I have used it during motorcycle driving, trekking in the mountains and birthday party. In my opinion, it’s still the best 360 camera among its competitors!

The video is crisp and clear at night. The video and photo size is huge that can easily fill up the SD card. It takes a while to charge both battery in the docker.
